@DaudiKabanda Thanks Hon. The days of corruption are coming to an end. PLU Oyeee.
English

@JustineNameere But you have said that it's Kabanda running this account and again its the same person you're here thanking as General Big bro? Kindly make it make sense.
English

@mkainerugaba My dream is to meet you General but I'm a nobody, I will just keep praying for God's favor.

@akibaru That theft has been rampant in Kampala for a year or two and the only solution is to Rivet that chrome top of the grill before or as you drive out of the car bond.

Toyota Harrier Owners – This is getting serious! 😳
Man, the streets are wild these days. PVC grills on Toyota Harriers are being yanked straight off cars in traffic jams! One minute you’re stuck in a jam, the next – your front grille is gone. Thieves are really troubling citizens out here.
Look at this car in the picture – that entire grille is just simple PVC, extruded from a basic PVC machine. Nothing fancy.
Isn’t it high time we start producing these locally in Kenya? 💪
Instead of importing from abroad and giving thieves more targets, we can manufacture them right here – same quality, cheaper price, and create real jobs.
Like I always say: To make money, solve a problem! 😁

@DaudiKabanda @mkainerugaba Gen Mk has endorsed corruption 🤭

@DaudiKabanda @mkainerugaba Ugandans have a problem with reading. Ugandans are failures from day one. Always jumping at issues without fully understanding. Look at the misfiring in the comment section 🙌

@ForensicsKuria @mburu43089 @AmbokoJH Kenya doesn't have much crude but it's a bigger economy with a bigger market, Rutu is banking on that to convince Dangote to choose Kenya but wisely selecting his words in order not to offend his neighbors who have already invested in the Tanga pipeline and who wld supply Kenya
English

So in your world, a career politician who has never worked anywhere, never run any business, never run anything ever, knows much more than the entire accounting, financial, investment, refinery talent that Dangote has?
Even if I were to agree with you, shouldn't he let Dangote make that investment mistake (lmao)? What does he care where Dangote loses his money?
At what point doies this start sounding ridiculous even to you?
English

On the Dangote led Refinery in East Africa:
· Location will be determined following research being undertaken by Dangote. Mombasa, Lamu or Tanga are lead contenders
· Project expected to cost anything between US$16.0 billion & US$20.0 billion
· Kenya's newly set up National Infrastructure Fund will co-invest in the refinery, deployment not disclosed
· The National Infrastructure Fund currently has US$1.0 billion (Kenya Pipeline proceeds). In another two or so months, ~ US$2.0 billion is expected (Safaricom Plc partial divestiture proceeds)
· GOK believes that with ~ US$3.0 billion worth of seed capital, it can build the fund to ~ US$30.0 billion (10:1) crowd in factor
· National Infrastructure Fund to invest 20.0% (~ US$300.0 Million) in the planned new Nairobi Airport

Meant 60K bad
But what I know, the UG/TZ pipeline at Tanga can still export the crude to Lamu or Mombasa Refinery but the question is, won't the UG's own refinery of 60K bpd affect the Mombasa refinery? & what if TZ decides to sabotage? Ruto knows all this.
English

@ForensicsKuria @mburu43089 @AmbokoJH 1/2
The Dangote refinery is targeting Uganda crude which is supposed to be exported overseas through Tanga port, the pipeline which has already reached in TZ has a capacity of 216K barrel per day, its difficult for TZ & UG to abandon such a project nearing completion.
English

@ForensicsKuria @mburu43089 @AmbokoJH 1/3
with the crude in case Dangote decided to go with Mombasa. So Ruto is trying to play a game of diplomacy while pulling the refinery to Kenya. Ug is also building its small refinery for home consumption with a capacity of 600K bpd. The battle is btn KE & TZ.
English

@ForensicsKuria @mburu43089 @AmbokoJH Your President is right for he knows you can't build such a bigger refinery on Kenya's 560 million barrel of crude without involving Uganda which would be the biggest supplier with 6 Billion barrel of Crude. So the President is only playing smart though he wants it in Kenya.
English

@mburu43089 @AmbokoJH He is not. The Tanzanian president has said she has no idea about it. Uganda has said it is building its own smaller refinery. Dangote has said he wants it in Mombasa.
The only person here who has problems with the refinery in Mombasa is, surprisingly, the Kenyan president. Why?
English

@BoazSitati @mwanakijiji2 @EmmanuelMotelin Dangote is a wise businessman, by building the refinery in Mombasa is a strategic choice to drill the local crude and also to be supplied with the crude from Somalia and Uganda and not to forget SSD.
English

@chrispine7715 @mwanakijiji2 @EmmanuelMotelin With all that oil in East Africa and Dangote refinery who cares what happens to the straight of Hormuz.
English

Given Tanzania’s current reservations, there is a strong case for the Dangote refinery to be hosted in Kenya instead. As a primary regional hub, Mombasa could better leverage the economic opportunities the project offers. Furthermore, utilizing the proposed pipeline to connect Mombasa with Tanga would still ensure the integration of regional fuel infrastructure while maximizing Kenya's industrial potential.
English

@BoazSitati @mwanakijiji2 @EmmanuelMotelin While Kenya has 560M barrel, Uganda has 6 billion barrel in the albertine region, and more oil is being discovered in the kyoga region. God bless EA.
English

@mwanakijiji2 @EmmanuelMotelin Tanzania does not have significant known crude oil reserves. Kenya has crude oil and commercial production is starting end of this year.

@utopolo2025 @RuganzuIV @roxie_ug Just Google DAR city size and DAR metro size and you will get the same distance and likewise to Kigali then try the same for Kla and Nairobi.
English

@chrispine7715 @RuganzuIV @roxie_ug Are you sure that Dar is not expansive that boundaries? Google Municipality of kibaha, towns of mlandizi, bagamoyo, kisarawe, mkuranga etc. all those are within Dar metro
