@DavidMatthews6 The big problem we have, is that after January, we do have greater depth of squad but the quality is still poor. The only successful siging so far this season(summer and Jan) is Canvot. Our attacking signings are worryingly poor. Sarr is the only one really, since Zaha left.

If the season ends with us winning in Leipzig & staying up narrowly, there can be absolutely no complacency in the summer. We need a squad of 20 plus PL calibre starting players. Our squad depth has absolutely ruined us this season.

@CR2SE25 Next season, we will be in trouble if others are not brought in. We can't carry Pino and Johnson far into next season, as we will not score at all if they continue like this one. Our good start saved us. This happened in the 2016 cup final season. We were in trouble by xmas 2017

@maxpalace03 Next season, yes. With this current attack, even with a new coach. Maybe we bring in a couple of attackers in the summer, but if we are relying on Johnson and Pino as much as this season we are in trouble. I don't believe a new manager will make a difference to them either sadly.

@CR2SE25 The key to good management is realising a big mistake quickly, and changing it, even if it looks harsh. He won't sell Johnson or Pino, but one at least should go in the summer. We will be in trouble carrying these two next season.

@GeorgeHilder5 I agree with all of those, but that won't happen. I think we could be in relegation trouble next season. This is a worse attack than our first season back in the Prem, but the most expensive we have ever had. I would take Punch, Bolasie and Chamakh over any of Pino and Johnson.

@BobbyManzi This is how next season will look. We will persist with Pino and Johnson and be in relegation trouble by christmas. I didn't want him at all, so am biased. I wish he had proved me wrong for the club's sake.

A spineless half of football from Crystal Palace. No progression, no ball retention, no intensity. Can see the damage from ringing in the changes, although that may prove worth it come Thursday. Just three touches in the Bournemouth box. Lacroix can take some credit - it has been woeful otherwise. #CPFC

@Sumo08112 I think we can get him cheaper, and could replace N'ketiah in the squad(who needs moving on). A player who can be utility at number 10/9, and at a push, wide too, similar to N'Ketiah.
Assuming we will get in an out and out 9 to replace Mateta.
