I recently traveled to California as a European Tesla owner, and after watching some of @wholemars's and @DirtyTesLa's videos over the past few years, I knew I had to try FSD and the Cybertruck on American roads. So, I rented a CT on Turo. Here’s my take on the experience:

@chsui22 @erix004 Bitte Quellenangaben. Wo sollen denn diese bewilligten Testfahten sein? Ich finde auch die Anmeldeseite nicht mehr. Oder meinst du die einfachen Testfahrten ohne FSDs?

Tesla teilt mir mit: Immer noch keine FSD-Probefahrten in der Schweiz möglich. Mein Termin wurde storniert wegen regulatorischer und technischer Überprüfungen. Das ist ein schlechtes Zeichen für den FSD-Rollout hier. Das ASTRA lässt Tesla offenbar weiter hängen.

Tesla is working on FSD V14 Lite for HW3... IMO they haven't abandoned anything... I bet, you will either get FSD Lite, that is also safer than human driving, you get an HW upgrade to AI4 or at least you get your money back. I really hope this will not throw sticks in the release of this technology as a whole in europe. Everyone who has bought FSD had to know, that it was a bet which can go wrong. If you haven't known, your due dilligence was bad! Sry to be so rude but its the truth... BTW, I have bought a used Tesla and the first thing I looked for was AI4 because of that obvious fact.

Yesterday Tesla owed me €6.400. Today they owe thousands of us. One post. 1.250+ owners. €3.8M+ in estimated FSD payments. All in 24 hours. It started in the Netherlands. Now HW3 owners across Europe are signing up. We paid for Full Self-Driving. Tesla quietly abandoned the hardware it runs on. Millions of cars. No communication whatsoever. Friends asking if I realize who I'm up against. I do. So does everyone who stopped waiting. Join hw3claim.nl if you paid for FSD.

@15478986_user @mischamartijn No its not. Tesla was able to certify an FSD version in the EU. If they can't get it running on HW3, how is that our problem?

Elon has reiterated that there are no plans to use AI5 chips in customer vehicles for the foreseeable future. The chip will be focused on @Tesla_Optimus and supercomputers. Tesla remains on track for releasing Full Self-Driving Unsupervised on the latest FSD computer (AI4).

@bartosz For those that are now crying about losing FSD, the use of these devices has always been in the T&Cs specifically mentioned. And this is a clear breach! The manual also mentions it very clearly. You may even be banned from ever owning it again 😱 tesla.com/ownersmanual/m…

Tesla schlägt zurück. 🚨 Wer den Can-Bus FSD Chip genutzt hat, verliert jetzt aktiv FSD-Funktionen, Tesla deaktiviert Ampel- und Stoppschildassistent per remote. Das Experiment ist vorbei. 🫪

People in Europe were using FSD. It worked fine. It was safe and no one crashed and died. Now we might see people actually crash and die becouse they have to drive manually before official approval rolls out.

@wholemars @LinkN01 Cool. Did not think that V14 lite is already ready. But in that case, looking forward to getting it as soon as FSD is approved (fingers crossed for tomorrow).

@teslascope @Tesla I understand that many drivers want access to FSD and have been patient for too long (I belong in this group), but this is the proper response from a serious company

In response to unauthorized devices activating Full Self-Driving (Supervised) in unsupported regions, @Tesla has remotely disabled some driver assistance functions on customer vehicles. The company has communicated that some features will be restored in a future update.

@FamiliaZoc98923 @FranzHueme70898 @RonnyGolisch Weil „warten“ für viele nichts mehr bringt. Europa bekommt FSD wohl bald als V14 auf HW4... Und alle mit HW3 + FSD? Schauen am Ende einfach in die Röhre. Der Frust ist daher absolut nachvollziehbar.
