Nobody can believe Trump’s $18 trillion investment number because it is fictional.
The White House’s own “investment”-tracking website puts the figure at $10.5 trillion, not $18 trillion, and even that is wildly inflated — counting a whole bunch of vague pledges, non-pledges, and pledges that are about bilateral trade rather than investment in the US. cnn.com/2025/10/11/pol…

France made this wastefulness illegal cause it’s cruel and only causes more waste issues. Any food market or restaurant over 400 square meters has to donate all their good unsold food to charities and are fined if they do anything like this. That law should be applied everywhere
