Don't even need to switch anymore. Vibe-coded a Mac app in codex that I can set as my default browser, it routes links to open in the correct Chrome profile depending on the domain.

I would switch browsers for a feature that automatically opened links in the correct profile.

Never put the thing your company does in the name

Huge news: We’re changing our company name from @Grammarly to Superhuman and launching a new product! The Grammarly brand isn’t going anywhere, but we’re evolving into a multi-product company that includes Grammarly, Coda, Superhuman Mail, and a new AI assistant called Superhuman Go. 🧵

@sweatystartup In a hot market and I have friends who are only looking at off-market properties. So this wouldn’t work. Context: live in Wyoming where sale records are not public

How to buy a house in a hot market:
Fire your buyers agent (or don’t get one). You’re at a disadvantage with a multi-offer scenario.
Work directly with the seller agent.
Make offer with 2% credit to seller and 1% more commission for the seller agent.
Seller makes more money.
You save money.
And most importantly the seller's agent is HIGHLY motivated to get the seller to take your offer.
I've bought 3 houses like this and I've watched friends buy 5 or so more this way.
It is incredibly effective.

@sama Want to like it. Chrome asked if I wanted to keep it my default search engine, I said Yes. But then was googling stuff while on a call and had to keep jumping back to Google.
Results not coming in fast enough. Too much text to read through. I just wanted links.

@nikitabier That's also because Facebook IS the internet in the Philippines. Pre-installed on every device with free data usage. Captive audience.

At Facebook, I coined a term called Filipino Product Market-Fit:
Every year a product manager would observe their new product getting intense adoption in the Phillipines and proclaim their idea was working. Directors would quickly staff the team and alert their VPs of the newfound discovery—only to find out that the pattern was not reproducible in other countries.
The Philipines has one of the highest time-spent online in the world and they will try literally anything for a few days.

@Jack_Raines You must live in a big city. Move outside SF, NY, LA, and I find most of the world is still human.

AirPods have only been out for 7 years, and the average person now defaults to throwing their headphones in as soon as they’re alone in public.
Walk through the grocery store, everyone has their headphones in. Same with the gym, or just walking around town.
This feels like a dystopic tech trend that will only accelerate as AI improves and new products like the Vision Pro continue to come out.

I have become ruthless with smashing that unsubscribe link in emails I get.
Cleaner inbox means I can get to the important things sooner.
Two proptech newsletters I’ll always keep subscribed include ones from @NateSmoyer @drewmeyers @geekestate

@karomancer @techwraith My guess is maybe people are replacing Email with Slack. "Hey you free this week to talk about X?" - and also, being able to just schedule directly on someone's calendar if you have visibility.
English

@chuckh_ @techwraith I'm honestly surprised text is more common than email so far
