@DmitriySternber I believe Jesuit missionaries in China attempted to synthesize Christianity with elements of Confucianism and Taoism seeing it as completing their tradition with divine revelation. Likely a Christian China would have elements of Confucianism similar to us with Aristotle.

It raises an interesting question as to the results of the Christianization of other civilizations. Would a Christian Japan, China, Turkey, etc. be the same civilization, or something new? Are they like a baptized man who is "the same" in one sense but a new creature in another?

My understanding of the fundamental pillars of a civilization are race + religion/worldview (body and spirit). A change in one these things creates a fundamentally different civilization.
