We don't need to make a statistical model of `everything`. There are progressive levels of predictions we can aspire to, and can reach meaningful predictions even without a dyson sphere. simple idea: predict which kids are +ve EV if you lift them out poverty at least gives you a program that is sustainable and has a positive flywheel

@astridwilde1 How much of a concern is latency introduced by remote control? I imagine it's not a big concern for these extremely basic box scanning tasks but seems like a potential limiter elsewhere

Supply voltage levels and gain are made up, since I haven't selected an ADC yet (that's usually hard and scares me) or considered how the board is being powered. Trying to be fast and loose with the analog frontend and it shouldn't be too hard to revise later

Going to design the whole thing using only TI parts because I get those for free. Frontend currently uses the INA333 and OPA333. HPF is 2nd order 15Hz cutoff, LPF is 4th order 500Hz cutoff. Simulates nicely, red is output of INA, brown HPF, green LPF

Trying to create an sEMG wristband. Starting with the analog frontend. So far, instrumentation amplifier for gain, followed by active HPF and LPF. Going to work in a notch filter. Not entirely sure about tradeoffs vs. active/passive rn, or what my total gain should be (rn ~2000).

Very pleased with the title of this one. Now to learn LTspice... Legit failed the final exam of first analog design class over a decade ago. The circuits ima try to simulate are way more complex than the shit I failed to design all those years ago.

@KairosPraxis In this particular case, I bought three Japanese companies in the small accnt. They make up 30% of the accnt due to the 100 share minimum requirement in Japan. 2/3 are underwater and are dragging the accnt down. In the large accnt, they're negligible to overall performance so far

Running a small account (low 5 figures) is so insanely frustrating. The large account (6 figures) I manage for my parents is doing very well. My account is just getting smoked. lol.
