Men have proposed to me many times. People think the reason I am not married is that nobody asked. That is not true. I said no because I knew deep inside that I could not do forever with those people. Dating someone and marrying them are not the same thing. There are things you can manage as a girlfriend that you cannot survive as a wife.
When a man starts talking about the future, I look at him with clear eyes. Is this the person I want to father my children? Is he kind? How does he treat his mother and other women? How does he behave around children? Those small details show you the pattern of his heart. I tell young girls, do not only look for romance, look for character. That is what you will live with every day.

@Iamindiscov The same father that should be the one to collect Bride price and give her out for marriage. I don't know how they will get round this.

She destroyed her daughter's future for her selfish interest, misled her into abvsing her father publicly which will affect her daughter greatly in the future especially when suitors start coming. There is no sensible man that will see that video and posts she made against her father and take her seriously to be a wife I'm sure.
A child is not supposed to take sides when both parents are having misunderstandings or problems, this girl took side, got heavily manipulated by May Edochie. I understand she was naive then, doesn't have the brain to think independently but how about now? Why can't she apologise to her father publicly the same way she publicly disrespected him and make peace? This is not good and I'm really concerned, May didn't do well.
No matter your issue with your husband you don't have to involve the children, Yul Edochie messed up but the daughter insulting him, dragging him and throwing tantrums on social media the way she did was st*pid.
Personally i will never marry a woman who disrespects her father, such woman will never be my wife because if she can insvlt her father, then who the hell am i that she can't insvlt?
What do you think? Drop it in the comments section.

@SaharaReporters They believe nobody can call them to order , it is obvious that the Politicians are scared of calling this kaki guys to respect the constitution. The only thing that can affect them is when the US and EU ban them and their families from their countries.

@InibeheEffiong This is one of those things that could constitute child abuse, exposing minors to violent contents and indoctrinating children with violent teachings. It is also morally wrong . That author needs to also apologize to Nigerians .

NIGERIA POLICE ARE NOT YOUR FRIEND AND WILL NEVER BE YOUR FRIEND
My uncle, a Sergeant in the Nigeria Police Force, learnt this bitter truth with his own life.
He was killed in his 13th year of service. A dedicated and hardworking officer who always tried to do the right thing, even when those around him chose the wrong path. He was not rich, not corrupt just an ordinary policeman trying to provide for his family on a meagre salary.
That night, they were on patrol. The team had spotted a civilian and decided they would kill him and take his money. My uncle refused. He stood against the plan. He told them it was wrong. That single act of conscience cost him his life.
Instead of listening to him, his own colleagues turned on him. In cold blood, one of them pulled his service pistol and shot my uncle at close range. One bullet. That was all it took. The same night, they also killed the civilian and took what they wanted.
He died in his uniform not fighting armed robbers, but murdered by the very men who were supposed to be his brothers-in-arms.
After his death, they sold a big lie to the family and the public. They claimed he was killed by armed robbers during an encounter. We mourned him with that painful falsehood for years.
But five years later, the truth was finally revealed. One of his colleagues, on his sick bed, confessed everything before he died. He exposed how my uncle was killed for refusing to join them in crime. He named the killers and told the full story of that bloody night.
He left behind a wife and three young children. The eldest was only fifteen years old when their father was brutally taken away. In one night, those children became fatherless and my aunt became a widow all because my uncle refused to join them in crime.
Since that day, our family has never been the same. Every time I see a police uniform, I remember my uncle. I remember how the Nigeria Police Force can be more dangerous to its own honest officers than to the criminals they are paid to fight.
If you are reading this, listen carefully: Nigeria Police are not your friend. They are not even friends to themselves. Never trust them completely. Protect your life and your family, because many of them cannot even guarantee the safety of their own colleagues who try to do the right thing.

What is the lesson he is trying to pass across to the kids in this book?
This book should be banned from.all schools and withdrawn from all bookshops immediately.
The man is an academic terrorist trying to induct kids into violence because ther is nothing to learn here but unforgiveness, callousness and rage.

CONTROVERSIAL NURSERY SCHOOL BOOK: WE WILL REPORT AT ZONE 2 POLICE COMMAND TODAY
Following the invitation and harassment of our Client, Mrs. Udoka, Mary Queen, by the Zone 2 Police Command, Onikan, Lagos, it pertinent to disclose that we will be going to the police command today, Thursday, 30th April, 2026.
We will be reporting with our Client as law abiding citizens and out of respect for the institution of the @PoliceNG, not because we believe that Mary Queen committed any crime or that there’s a basis for the involvement of the police in this matter.
However, we want to be clear that Ayengbe Ebhohimen JB, the author of the textbook, who has instigated the police against our client, will have to justify his actions.
We are hoping that the officers at Zone 2 Police Command will be able to explain to us what their business is with this matter.
It is also hoped that they will respect the fundamental rights of our Client and keep the interaction professional.
Thank you.
