You look at a photo of lemons and water and it automatically makes you feel good. White, blue and yellow. Optimistic colors.

A grieving widow who just watched her husband get shot to death in front of her and their children two weeks ago btw.

Very sad to see even @KirkCameron misinterpret scripture in such a way. I’ve posted this often, but it bears repeating: In Romans, we see a clear exposition of Israel’s past, present, and future state: Past Election - Romans 9 Present Rejection - Romans 10 Future Redemption - Romans 11 3 Questions of Romans 11 Answered: 1. “I say then, has God cast away His people?” Answer: “Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.” —Romans 11:1 •Paul continues in Vs 2-10 by using the illustration of Elijah and the seven thousand (which consisted of the remnant - Rom 11:5) God reserved with a future restoration in mind that Paul explains in the subsequent verses. 2. “I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall?” Answer: “Certainly not! But through their fall, to provoke them to jealousy, salvation has come to the Gentiles.” —Romans 11:11 •In Vs 12-15 Paul explains how their fall resulted in salvation coming to the Gentiles. Think of the absurdity of the Church replacing Israel, and think through this question in light of Rom 11:11: Are Gentiles within the Church provoking the Church to jealously so that the Church may be saved? 3. “For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?” Answer: …And pay close attention to the scripture AND commentary, because it directly applies to you:
