Side stepping the question, as a fellow Catholic do you defer to the Pope on matters of "Ordinary Magisterium" that would seem to be covered by this at least in a way that would involve not directly arguing. I'm not a practicing yet alone converted Catholic but it seems strange to choose such a unique tradition and then engage this way with your Pope (speaking of Vance).

You're right that overall success rate is higher (1 in 23) as I screwed up that final math - but you're wrong on the odds of making it through 6 frames (you're low). Most of the failure rate is as you lose bowlers in the last half. Of course I'm making the simplifying assumption everyone is not only equally good but decent.
