The @ciicesd and @PCAFglobal partnership will support financial institutions in India with India-specific emission factor datasets aligned with global standards for accurate GHG accounting and reporting. A significant step towards stronger climate accountability in finance.

Financed emissions represent the largest share of a financial institution’s climate footprint under Scope 3 (Category 15) of the GHG Protocol. @ciicesd and @PCAFglobal have partnered to strengthen financed emissions accounting and climate-aligned financial practices in India.
