@psychlops924 @UCBarstool @UofABarstool LMAO. prolly cuz we lost our coach… right before covid to UCLA. also thanks for Calhoun big dawg
English

@psychlops924 @UCBarstool @UofABarstool are you trying to say Utah State has more of a winning culture than Cincinnati? Lol
English

@UCBarstool @UofABarstool Cincy is not making the tournament next year, even if you get Calhoun. Plenty of teams have stolen our coaches and gone on to do nothing.
Utah State just has a culture of winning.

@TomFornelli vomit on his sweater already.. skyline chili spaghetti.

@ChanMan219 @CBoxSports @JonHeyman I believe in this scenario the pool of money gets larger. The former number is thrown out the door, everyone has the same number to work with, therefore the higher floor makes for much better baseball. This will be similar to how the NFL does it.
English

It’s not about the Reds. It’s about the teams that aren’t even spending $100m. The Reds have about $146.7m on the books for this season. There are 8 teams spending less than $120m and 2 teams spending less than $100m. Plus, the teams spending over $250m would have to move talent to meet the cap. This SHOULD balance out the market. A $120m floor would still force nearly 1/3 of the league to spend, especially the Guardians and Marlins. The Guardians would have to spend $26m minimum and the Marlins would have to spend $42m. Plus, this floor allows for flexibility in rebuilds and saving money to extend/sign talent.
English

MLB owners are discussing a potential $260–280M salary cap and $140–160M floor according to @JonHeyman ahead of the CBA expiring on December 1st.

English

@ChanMan219 @CBoxSports @JonHeyman Why, as a Reds fan, would you want to lower the floor to what the Reds currently pay?
English

The average payroll in 2024 was around $159m I believe. The correct structure should realistically be $120m floor and $250m cap thru 2028. Then they should both basically increase by about $5-10m every 3-4 years.
Example:
2030- $125m floor, $255m cap
2033- $130m floor, $260m cap
2036- $140m floor, $270m cap
2039- $145m floor, $275m cap
Average payrolls previously (3 year increments)
2023- $148.4m
2019 (2020 was shortened)≈ $133.6m
2016-$131.3m
2013-$106.2
2010-$91m

There was this one guy, but... oh, nevermind.

Let's hear it 🗣️ Who is the hardest hitter in NFL history? 👀
English

@fake1eye @aPROballplayer you got me excited for a sec man….
English

@aPROballplayer It does look like it is not a clean vest but one that includes those short red sleeves. I like the other vest type as long as no black is included. Yet when I was a kid they wore vests at Crosley Field with some blue trim in them.

@RedBrickStros @ZachMontavon1 @CharlieG__ a simple google search would indicate that most athletes have clauses on their contracts that prohibit dangerous activities such as skydiving, skiing or riding a motorcycle
English

@ZachMontavon1 @CharlieG__ 100% agree. At the end of the day playing baseball is his job, he’s now married to it. Gotta be able to let a guy live his life. Life comes with risks and you gotta live life to the fullest. People don’t realize how little time professional athletes have to themselves
English

@GregoryMcc66 @dwills76 @MoEgger CES is done in a Reds uniform. His spot is gone, I expect him to be moved by midseason
English

I still wish the outfield was better.
And I believe that if the 2026 Reds are better the 2025 version a whole lot of players who were a part of least year’s team will have more to do with it than any outside acquisition.
But at the bare minimum this offseason they had to find multiple established big league relievers and at least one guy who can hit the ball out of the ballpark. Those things did happen.
English

In honor of #BlackHistoryMonth, the Reds are proud to celebrate the accomplishments and legacies of some of our franchise's greatest players.

@markgfreeman5 Josh Allen has more super bowl appearances than women you’ve banged
English

@cincyltgeneral The game where his teammate died? And it was the second quarter and the Bengals were only up 7. You act like Burrow has never blown a lead and Allen has never made a comeback. Here’s an example where both happened for reference.

English

@chrisinthe716 @MIK3MCDANIEL atleast he’s been there unlike josh “lets cancel a regular season game against a better team than us so we get home field advantage in a divisional game but lose anyways to said team” allen
English

@MIK3MCDANIEL Finally, somebody else said it this is exactly the same run! Joe wasn’t good in the playoffs
English

@tony_pike15 Waiting for Wes to say it was a “tough environment” to play in…. when the arena was half empty! what a joke

English

@jubileeburner @dmiket98 @On3 seriously brother get some help you need it. that motherfucker whipped in a lamborghini that probably had 2 hookers in the front seat, paid by an “alumni”
English

@cincyltgeneral @dmiket98 @On3 Do you think Jake Coker did? I’m sure that Derrick Henry had NO REASON to choose a National championship winning program to become part of. Not to mention a coach with multiple awards and renowned abilities to recruit families, or Alabama’s amazing facilities.

NEW: Nick Saban trolled the Big Ten over why it has an NIL advantage over the SEC😂
“In this day and age of the culture we have now in college football, paying players, name, image and likeness, transfer, it’s an advantage for the Big Ten. You’ll never convince me otherwise. The North. Because people in the South would not go to the North unless you paid them.”
