@cjameswalker I don’t agree with his podcast take either. But I have to push back on yours as well. This has nothing to do with abuse or distracting from it. Article III specifically deals with that already. The convention has spent half a decade on abuse.

@willjames93 Yeah, this is a pretty classic all-returnee season win: play the middle and keep eyes off you. Be willing to shift alliances and go with the flow. Take out players who play similarly to you so you sit next to people you can easily distinguish your game from.

If you can’t fully understand why players like Aubry win over Jonathan, you’re essentially telling us you’d probably lose the game as well just like Jonathan. I think the show you’re ultimately looking to play is Amazing Race, but even then it’ll be hard

@Crumdawg97 @realityysimp Agreed. Same with Aubry unfortunately. Too many twists. The reality was no one who was openly playing hard was making the end once everyone realized they needed to take Joe to final 3. She earned it, but the game design was terrible.

But I have to add: Chris’s win wasn’t a JURY travesty, but it was horrendous game setup to allow a player to literally not have to “play” the majority of days (not ruffle jury feathers)… and then ALSO just be handed extreme power upon his return into the actual game.

@James6363843171 @realityysimp 100%. But that’s something the final 3 have to work around. Give the jury what they want. Could be a pound of flesh, an apology, a line about how big a threat someone was and you were scared of them. Could just be owning your game. Figuring that out is the trick.

Another point about RTS advertising to women. We’ve witnessed the demise of men-only (& women-only) spaces. If we can’t even keep women out of seminary (which is to train male pastors), then we really can’t have anywhere just for men.

Kid Cudi recently canceled an Alabama show and, refreshingly, admitted the reason was low ticket sales. The bigger story here, IMO, is the lack of venue options for artists in non-major markets. Birmingham only has three (!) mid-size venues. Makes show booking very challenging.
