Designing a logo is like choosing your business's face tattoo - better make sure it’s not giving ‘midlife crisis’ vibes.

"Building in public" means: · Posting screenshots of $10MRR · Announcing features you'll never ship · Asking for feedback you'll ignore · Celebrating "milestones" like hitting 100 followers while your product has zero users 😅

People acting like "Hey Claude Code, implement this feature I dreamt of just now and have no idea how to even start building" and then prototyping a fully-fledged working implementation isn't anything short of magic.

“I need to start a biz…” 3 months later: • Watched 69 videos. • Read 13 business books. • Shared plans with his mates. • Felt like he’s the main character. Earned $0. “Business is not for me.”

Dagobert - Corporate sellout 👔
Not sure why he’s saying this but having more money has been amazing to me so far: - Audi q3 > Toyota Yaris - 4-5 star hotels > 3 star hotels (better food, better fabrics, maybe service is mid but still overall better) - can travel even during peak season cause price doesn’t matter - restaurant whenever you feel like it - buy cool shit to your wife, family and friends - buy the best appliances / electronics / devices that impact your day to day comfort Getting rich to keep living like your poor is suboptimal. At $30k/y you have ugly clothes, ugly furniture, slow devices, unsafe car or no car at all, etc. freedom and purpose are still more important for happiness. But being rich gets you another 20-30% increase. For example my wife feels alone since she moved in France with me, and she misses her friends -> just bought her best friend a plane ticket and it made her incredibly happy. As long as you keep your integrity and freedom, there is zero reason to settle for being poor. It objectively worse.
@levelsio@levelsio

Even bigger irony of getting rich is that everything expensive isn't that much better than when you paid normal for it Many things are even worse (most expensive luxury hotels are guaranteed worse than regular simple hotels, I know I tried most of them now) The real reason you wanna get rich is not to buy expensive things It's so that $1M invested gives you 3% to take out every year with no risk, which is $30,000/year Which you can use to travel for $1000/mo on a shoestring budget forever without having to back to some desk job with a shitty boss Aka FREEDOM

One of Jessica's most mystifying qualities is how often she matches the places we go. Almost to the point of camouflage sometimes. I don't think she consciously plans it. She just has this uncannily powerful fashion sense.

If you're focused only on going viral, you're missing out on real growth. Growth doesn't happen from one viral moment. It happens from days, weeks, and months (even years), are strategically showing up and being valuable to the right people.

ring, ring, dwwring—it’s 8:24AM, I get up. I open the laptop, start writing, outreaching, and tapping the keys. I get up, time for cooking and food and gym. back home, working, tapping the keys … ring, ring, dwwring—it’s 10:28PM, close the laptop, go to bed. ah, yes.

Motivation shows up when it wants. Discipline shows up because you decided it would. Schedule your work like a meeting you can't cancel and stop waiting to feel like doing it. That's how to make progress
