@_50_in_07_@ibamboozIe I watched him for years in Denver and had the same critiques of his defense, back check, effort etc. Say what you will but +- is tracked for a reason. It's not the only thing that matters but it does show trends. Again, how's Stankoven looking right now?
@cjboulder@ibamboozIe Wrong. I don't think you know how the math works. Seems like you just did +7 for points to get to -8 means 15 goals against. not how it works. 6 out of 7 were PPP so that's only a +1 so to be -8 he was on 9 goals against out of 23 not 15. You don't know how the stat works lol 😂
@_50_in_07_@ibamboozIe OK but plus vs minus as a team stat is tge differencebetween w and L..... Rantenan had 7 points and was minus 8. 15 of Minnesotas 23 goals in the series were scored with Mikko on the ice. Math is math. Being better than the guys you are going against matters. Hows Stankoven doin
@_50_in_07_@ibamboozIe Yah you are right, I totally posted in a rush while tired. But you are glossing over the point entirely, and doesn't the fact that his points were mostly on the power play enforce his poor play, where the Wild were +8 with him on the ice 5v5?
@KellytylerA622@ibamboozIe He was injured in the Olympics, his plus/minus actually improved a bit after the Olympics. +- is about work and effort. -8 in a single series....
@SpokedZ Never played eh? He got under his breezers pad on the back and dropped him, causing a turnover in the O-Zone. Aside from the clear advantage, it's also a dangerous play
@TXHockeyRef@mdixonair Fighting through a clear holding penalty is dirty? Winning a physical battle is just that, nothing more. Dallas holds, hits late and then whine when the other team still wins? Hate to say but this is typical dallas fanboy bs
@DallasSp0rtsFan Did you say typical hold your guy play? As if the colorado player is supposed to just stand there and not fight through what others like to call interference? Yah I'd say you are biased. Stars hit late, hold, grab, etc and then whine when a player is injured while doing so....
@RobertTiffin Call me biased, but this is 100% on MacKinnon. He lifted his leg up to cause his ACL or something snap. It was a typical hold your guy play from Roope. This is 100% on MacKinnon.

@Knightwolfbr Contact to the head with a high boot is reffed correctly. There is a difference between the 2 plays, contact to the players head is part of it. Also, first to the ball is taken in to account. Marta comes in late and high. The picture you compared of the US player is not the same.
High kicks are not reffed consistently. Marta does this almost exact thing (see screenshots) but is given a red card because defender tried to head the ball instead of Australian who tried to kick it. So if defender decides to head, red. If defender decides to kick, nothing?
