Tried to do a job for free this afternoon as it was a simple Rewire of a light switch that the old boy had got wrong Literally not even 5mins work. Also had a new telly so i got that hooked up to the WiFi inc setup. No more than 10mins But they wouldn't have it 😕

The government is taking 65% of the cost of fuel in tax, and in a few weeks, they will increase the tax again.

I swopped the controllers for the two electric blankets in the guest bedroom just before my parents-in-law visited. She got cold, turned up her controller, which heated HIS side, then he got hot and turned his down. Vicious loop ensued. They slept poorly. Victory is mine.

@MaryLouMcDonald Some BS. This is HVO @circlekireland today. Not a fossil fuel. Not affected by any rise in Brent crude or by current conflict. It’s pure profiteering. Not you, nor @FineGael, nor @fiannafailparty can control this. The companies set their prices and then the tax is added.

It would scrap the planned carbon tax increase and reduce taxes on petrol, diesel and home heating oil. Up to 65% of what people pay at the pumps goes to the government in taxes. So, they have considerable room to help. Sinn Féin’s Bill is real action! Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael need to pass it without delay.
