Yes but imagine the fallout if this was actually implemented on tour. Players would constantly be arguing and calling for rulings as to what constitutes a divot. It would be exhausting, controversial and make rounds even longer. Unless you just went full out and gave everyone preferred lies in the FW, but I don’t like that any better, at least not at the tour level.
