@BeeNetwork @UmperL 1st May isn’t a bank holiday so should be a normal service with last trams around 00:30. They may be improvement works that may affect routes. Monday 4th is the bank holiday and should be Sunday service.

@BeeNetwork how do I go about making a formal complaint for the 472 being consistently 25-30 minutes late every night now? Absolutely shoddy bus service @AndyBurnhamGM you should be ashamed of yourself. Bee Network should be fined for every late bus. ROADWORKS AREN’T AN EXCUSE

@Blooming95577 @BeeNetwork I know they haven’t. I highly suspect they wil all be doubles tho. They only double up every tram on that line when there is an event at the Etihad Stadium.

@clare_fleeming @BeeNetwork They’ve not confirmed it will be all doubles. And sometimes doubles run on the Eccles/mediacity line so it’s more than 10 physical trams an hour to drop from (I did refer to services rather than trams). The Eccles line has double passengers through town. It will be awful.

@BeeNetwork just seen the reduced service notice on the website - does that mean trams between the city centre and Salford quays are reducing from 2 every 12 minutes to 1 every 15 minutes?

@GinatheCleaner @BeeNetwork Use the Piccadilly service. There all doubles and wil arrive around 6 mins earlier or later then when you arrive.

@BeeNetwork please could you explain why you repeatedly send single trams on the Altrincham line arriving at Sale at approx 8.09am that are so full no one can get on them past Brooklands? This is absolute peak time and you are making people late

@Charlizzahoe @BeeNetwork If the doors were beeping that means the doors will be shutting in the next few seconds. It also means don’t board. Once the doors start closing the doors will keep attempting to close. It sounds like you have caused anti social behaviour

@BeeNetwork Just boarded a tram at St Peter's Square with a group of 5 total to East Didsbury at 19:18- doors were beeping but didnt close, so we attempted to get on. In between each person the driver continously closed the doors, trapping multiple arms/legs/bodies-

All doubles have again been forfeited on Rochdale & Airport lines today. The shortage of @beenetwork trams is clear to see, @andyburnham. The network can’t keep handling dramatic capacity loses, it’s unfair with single trams being so small. GM is growing, Metrolink isn’t.

By this time next week, we will have removed the 9.30am restriction on older and disabled people’s bus passes - for good.

@tuppymullins @BeeNetwork Nothing new. Metrolink control don’t think it’s important to let drivers now what’s going on. Communication from control to drivers is non existent and the operator doesn’t care about getting it improved.

@BeeNetwork So there are at least 5 trams backed up going nowhere.Peiple aren't allowed to get off, the tram driver is trying to contact you and nobody has responded to him.

@BeeNetwork @JamesDMan2025 It’s due to a 5mph speed restriction that’s been in place since December 2023 due to track conditions. TfGM are in no rush to fix the track there or on the other 70ish speed restrictions on the network.

Omg what a journey @BeeNetwork between anchorage and Salford quays tram stop the trams ride is hell not a very smooth ride and a very slow one between Salford quays and exchange quay round the bend never had a ride like this before

@BeeNetwork @matt_parsons61 There are only 2 doubles on the bury to Altrincham service. The rest are singles. This has been the case for over 2 years now. The doubles operator Bury to Piccadilly and Altrincham to Piccadilly.

@BeeNetwork @alinaaaxvs Clearly states in the terms and conditions of contactless payment that it’s your responsibility to ensure you have enough battery so an appeal decline is the correct outcome. Also if you had no battery how did you tap out?

@MCRMetrolink have fined me £60 for not paying for a tram ticket even though I have, I just wasn’t able to prove at the time of inspection because my phone died. Your officer told me if I appeal they’ll see I’ve paid and cancel the fine but they have declined it. See you in court

@BeeNetwork @cartwrightian Also there is that many speed restrictions on the network which causes delays all the time and that network rail are awful at getting trams through the single section also adds to the delays.

@levineg Not Metrolink’s fault ASB has occurred they can’t just get another tram to replace it immediately. It takes time.

@AllyblueDavies @BeeNetwork Tram had a fault. It needed to return to the depot. Some faults trans can remain in service other faults the can’t. You weren’t stranded. It’s a 6 or 12 minute service. Yes inconvenient but not the end of the world.

@BeeNetwork hi. double tram i was just on heading to east didsbury just suddenly terminated with no warning at monsall. passengers all told to get off. no warning no explanation. why? you’ll say “tech issues” but an explanation & apology from driver would have been nice 👌🏻
