Went on a lunchtime stroll looking for bluebells, found Batwoman instead. You can call it empowerment all you like but you can’t tell me this isn’t a cult.

There's something deeply disturbing about the closure of one of the oldest schools in England, which goes back to AD 631, its roll of headmasters to 1114, and numbers Thomas Paine among its former pupils. Our national educational heritage, sacrificed for an ideological tax grab.

@LeeHarris Who was the guy? It was a pretty strange question…makes you wonder what his agenda was. Didn’t seem very sincere or authentic

This is magnificent. A man on BBCQT asks Rachel Millward from the Greens to specify where she thinks racial hatred comes from. She can't answer. He tries again She still can't answer. So nervously waffles on about the cost of living. He beautifully exposes her stupidity 🔥

@LeeHarris She couldn't answer because the question was nebulus and unclear. When he was asked to clarify on multiple occasions, he repeated the same nonsensical question. They should have asked him where he thought it came from, because he clearly had an answer in his head.

Prevent isn’t fit for purpose. I wrote this essay about it in 2024. I regret that there’s more to add to it since. “it’s not especially clear that Prevent is fulfilling its namesake. Read enough news stories about terrorism and a pattern emerges: someone has been reported to Prevent and/or on its radar, but Prevent isn’t sufficiently concerned - and that someone goes on to do something dreadful.” open.substack.com/pub/gillc/p/wh…

1/ In January 2008, PC Neil Sampson walked towards a man with a knife. He took seven stab wounds doing it. His dog Anya, already bleeding, kept hold of the attacker so her handler could live. That same man, Essa Suleiman stabbed two people yesterday in a terror attack in Golders Green. Here’s what happened next. 🧵
