@spicy_ruby @ennui365 Yachats is the sweet spot. Just north enough to slow down the California folks and far enough south for the Seattle folks. AND no direct route to the valley. My only regret is how cold the water is. I have trouble being this close to water and not jumping in!

While being reunited with my mother when I was 6y, I heard her voice saying “No matter how bad you have it, someone has it worse.” Kept me humble. Today, I have a great place for those worse days.

When I lived at 16th and Burnside I loved the energy create by the thousands upon thousands of people walking to the stadium. I’m so glad that they chose to expand the existing stadium, constrained as it is, rather than moving to a new site.

I've long thought it strange that the Bottle Bill operates as a de-facto safety net; it certainly isn't the answer you'd arrive at if designing a new social program. But that's where we are. If we're not going to scrap it, this seems like a reasonable response to current issues.

@DamonMotzStorey Roads and sewers are NOT the answer. Too much unused property within ugb's in cities throughout OR. That property may be zoned Industrial, Institutional or Employment, not Residential. Eliminate zoning if there is too few available R zoned properties.
