@Bitcoin_Teddy Boomers got drafted into the Vietnam war. Older generations went to Korea and WWII. That’s struggling. They were dying not just drowning.

Older generations say “we all struggled in our 20s.” No, you didn’t. You didn’t pay $3200 for rent and $10 for eggs. You didn’t graduate into $50K student debt and $0 job security. Gen Z isn’t dramatic. They’re drowning.

@WallofWTF @Bitcoin_Teddy Boomers had free college because they fought in Vietnam. Gen Z could get free college from joining the military too but with the added bonus of not being in a major war zone.

@Bitcoin_Teddy Boomers had free college and $5 rent. We get $50k debt and eggs that cost more than therapy. Rent’s a subscription now and the landlord still ghosts you harder than your situationship.

Does it matter that the person is transgender, or is the issue that they’re a convicted sex offender? Why highlight “transgender” at all? That would be like saying “a Black sex offender” or “a white sex offender.” A criminal is a criminal. Why attach an entire group to one person’s crime?

@buildhomez I reached out to Tiffani McCoy to offer advice, an affordable property tour, or anything she needed. She isn't interested. I've heard the same from others. I just don't understand why they think they know so much they don't need to talk to others with experience in housing.

@gutter_sniper @profstonge That's not the question. What about a swinging dick offends you? Have you actually thought about this? I'm not defending it. I'm trying to understand. I'm not offended by boobs or vaginas or dicks. I am not. Don't know why. Doesn't bother me at all. Why are you offended by it?

I like Waymo as much as the next person (I'll always choose it over Uber), but self-driving cars will never provide the same social benefits as public transportation in busy urban areas -- because geometry. Americans have to figure out how to make public transportation clean, safe, efficient, and frequent or quality of life in our cities is going to be a major drag on future economic growth and prosperity.

Pretty much every poll find that on affordability, housing is the #1 concern for a large portion WA voters. Democrats in Olympia did precisely zero to address it. Is homeownership only for the wealthy? Seattle buyers now need $182K income #waleg mynorthwest.com/kiro-opinion/h…

It looks like she needs to live in supportive housing, where they have hoarding specialists on staff and won't evict someone for hoarding. It's too bad that Andrea, Choe, et al. literally exist to demonize Housing First and shut down supportive housing.
We Heart Seattle@weheartseattle

Our team was also called to Lake City today to intervene and prevent an eviction. A woman with multiple disabilities cannot take care of herself. We drove her to a mental heath clinic, developed a plan, and soon enough she was discharged. Rinse and repeat. Humans are suffering with the “hands off” approach. If we do not clean her home she will be evicted in 10 days.

@sampullara @victor_vibing @SawyerMerritt Not 100% true. FSD is used during the best scenarios. When driving is harder people tend to take over. So it’s probably not quite apples to apples but the difference is significant enough it probably overrides that
