Mr Europa League! It’s he’s competition. Unay Emery deserves a lot more recognition than he receives.

The German “economic reform” debate is not about reforms at all. It is about tax increases. Abolishing the married couples tax allowance is a tax rise. Structural reforms would be: phasing out of pay-as-you-go pensions; ending wasteful industrial subsidiaries to clapped-out industries; stop wasting defence spending on old-tech from Rheinmetall; reform of the welfare system. The Merz government is clearly not interested in reforms. But more worryingly, nobody else seems to be either. eurointelligence.com

EU Inc 🇪🇺 The "EU Inc" proposal is officially on the table, but we’re at a high-stakes crossroads. 1. With the Middle East crisis rightfully dominating the headlines, we cannot let MEPs "fast-track" a diluted version of this law just to clear their desks. 2. We must stop the "Universal Scope" trap; a vehicle designed for everyone, from bakeries to conglomerates, will never have the high-velocity agility a startup needs. 3. The current "Registry Loophole" is a dealbreaker; a portal linking 27 messy national databases is not a single, real-time Central EU Registry. 4. Without a dedicated Central EU Startup Court, we are left with 27 judicial interpretations, keeping the "invisible tariff" that drives founders to Delaware. This is our only window before the 2027 launch, if we settle for a "good enough" compromise now, a better version won’t come for another decade. Reminder: why are we doing this? 🎯 We need EU Inc. to turn 27 fragmented silos into one frictionless domestic market, so European founders can scale globally, without having to move to Delaware. That makes Europe global attractive for foudners to build + scale in Europe. What to do? Pressure your MEPs to reject national protectionism and demand a truly supranational legal standard for Europe.

If Marxists believed their own rhetoric, they would either start a business to create wealth for the poor, or start a commune to share their property with each other. They do neither. Their rhetoric is a cover for envy and resentment.

People are so risk averse that they prefer the command and comforting promises of a ruling class to a spontaneous order with peace and prosperity that can offer no explicit guarantee.
