People still overcomplicating risk-on setups. New alt, decent fundamentals, good structure, solid RR. Talked about enough to have momentum, not so long it’s stale. That’s it. Capital in risk-on doesn’t care about crowded. It piles into what’s working. Short list of alts, most already know them. Problem is people think they can outsmart the a fairly illiquid market. TAO, MON, ZEC have been the basket for a while. Could have just found entries on pullbacks and taken the ride. No need to think you’re smarter than that.

Calls for $130+ as the “new structural floor.” Hits $26 by 2016. 2014: WTI starts falling hard. Stays bullish. Oil halves to $45 in 6 months. 2016: WTI at $26 lows. Calls imminent $60+ recovery. Glut persists for another year. 2020: Enters year bullish. WTI goes literally negative (–$37) in April. 2022: Calls sustained $100+ supercycle at the post-Ukraine peak. Falls to $70s within a year. 2023: fired from Goldman after 27 years

it seems obvious from iran war that even the most powerful nations can not perfectly defend missiles and drones, nor could iran anti air (helped by RU/CN) strike material kills on western air force attacks is the best defense, concerning to learn for future world instability
