Cards trail 30-23 3:46; the fact that Zougris has 6 pts with 4 FG att tells just how much the Spartans defense has UofL out of sorts. He only has 5 games all season with 4 or more attempts

Sparty up 19-12 11:55; Cards have had some good looks from 3 not fall but 2-10 3ptFG is not the formula for an upset

And love seeing our @sports_cj team earn another @APSE_sportmedia top-10 finish for Kentucky Derby coverage. Journalism came up short during 151, but they — which goes well beyond those listed as part of the submission — crushed it.

Final bracket. notice, Pitino/Calipari rematch in second round. it’s not a conspiracy folks, just how the teams landed especially after already switching UofL/Tenn to avoid conference rematches

Another question that’s come up, UK would play Tulsa in OKC in 6-11 game. Point was made that the Cats would still have more fans. To reiterate, only the top 4 seeds in region are protected from home court disadvantage

Quirky situation with St. Louis as a 1st/2nd round site is in St. Louis. Committee protects top four seeds against home court advantage, but since the Bilikens didnt play more than 3 games at the venue, they could conceivably stay at home.

UofL switched with Tennessee to East region/Tampa for 1&2 rounds to avoid being in potential 2nd round matchup with ACC mate UVA. 5 seed Vols also avoid SEC rematch with 4 seed Alabama
