Just so you know, if you see a 600% decrease of something in Clarisix it’s calculated like we all do it. Not some new way.

Amazon forcing more ppc onto sellers. This is absolutely insane. Rufus is the dumbest AI and now you're going to charge sellers for this? This is shady AF to roll out. We're tired of this bs. @amznsellerhelp pass this on to someone please, this is robbery. Lol.

big announcement. after careful analysis of the market, we've decided to pivot Clarisix away from commerce analytics and into sustainable footwear. allbirds is going all-in on AI. we're going all-in on shoes. someone has to fill the gap. introducing the Clarisix Premium Knit Runner. sustainable materials. premium comfort. zero machine learning. every pair ships with a handwritten note that says "we will never ask you to talk to a chatbot." pre-orders open now. clarisix.com

When your working life rewards you, it’s easy to ratchet up the complexity: homes, cars, travel, possessions etc. I have found that all that complexity comes at the sake of your most fleeting asset: your time. Instead of building things, all of a sudden you’re dealing with minutiae and logistics. Instead of talking mostly to engineers, you’re talking mostly to non-engineers. The building stops…the business of managing self inflicted complexity begins. It’s worth noting that the best players in the game (Buffett, Elon) have kept their life extremely basic, almost monastic/nomadic, as success ratcheted them ever higher. I think it’s the biggest secret hiding in plain sight: When the world upgrades your status, downgrade your complexity.

My goal is to make Clarisix's profitability module the only one built on real double-entry accounting principles. Following IFRS/GAAP. Most tools in this space skip the hard parts. We're not skipping anything. Clear, consistent books help every seller. But they really matter when a brand raises capital, gets acquired, or one day IPOs. The due diligence is way easier when your numbers already follow the rules.

@WHOOP just filed a lawsuit against us. A $10B company with 800+ employees is scared of us, a 20-person team making health tracking accessible to all. Rather than focusing on product and innovation, Whoop has decided to use its newly raised capital on lawfare. In this video, I share our side of the story, explain why their claims are baseless, and why we believe fighting back is the right thing to do.

Fees increase again. Amazon just announced a 3.5% fuel surcharge on FBA fees starting april 17. That's about $0.17 extra per unit on average. They're calling it temporary. Tied to rising logistics costs from the iran situation. USPS, UPS, and FedEx all hiked fuel surcharges too. "temporary" is doing a lot of heavy lifting here. I have never seen amazon remove a surcharge once it's in place. The official line is "until further notice" which is corporate for permanent. This is on top of the $0.08/unit increase that already kicked in January. If you're running tight margins on low-ASP products, this is worth modeling out now. $0.17 doesn't sound like much until you multiply it by 50k units/month. The sellers who'll feel this least are the ones who already track unit economics obsessively. The ones who'll feel it most are the ones who find out from their P&L next quarter.

AI has brought us unimaginable speed to develop Clarisix. Probably 4-5x what we could've achieved a few years ago. With speed come risks. There is this issue in the image recently where a massive "supply chain" attack took place on an extremely popular client on JavaScript. I am lucky to have a team that keeps and eye and knows how to leverage AI not just stictch code together. If you're an Amazon/e-Commerce brand and you or your agency built internal tools using Node.js, your SP-API tokens, your Seller Central credentials, your advertising API keys could all be sitting on a compromised dev machine right now.
Feross@feross

🚨 CRITICAL: Active supply chain attack on axios -- one of npm's most depended-on packages. The latest axios@1.14.1 now pulls in plain-crypto-js@4.2.1, a package that did not exist before today. This is a live compromise. This is textbook supply chain installer malware. axios has 100M+ weekly downloads. Every npm install pulling the latest version is potentially compromised right now. Socket AI analysis confirms this is malware. plain-crypto-js is an obfuscated dropper/loader that: • Deobfuscates embedded payloads and operational strings at runtime • Dynamically loads fs, os, and execSync to evade static analysis • Executes decoded shell commands • Stages and copies payload files into OS temp and Windows ProgramData directories • Deletes and renames artifacts post-execution to destroy forensic evidence If you use axios, pin your version immediately and audit your lockfiles. Do not upgrade.

I have a secret to share After your first $2–$3 million, a paid off home and a good car, there is no difference in quality of life between you and Jeff Bezos. Both of you have limited amount of time on earth; you have twice if not more than Jeff, so you are richer than him. A cheeseburger is a cheeseburger whether a billionaire eats or you do. Money is nothing but a piece of paper or a number in your app. Real life is outdoors. Become financially independent; that’s usually 2–3mil. Have good food. Enjoy the relations. Workout. Sleep well. Call your parents. That’s all there is to life. Greed has no end. Repeat after me: Time is the currency of life. Money is not. Sooner you figure this out, happier you will be.

Major cheat code for life: Be patient with yourself when you’re trying to become someone you’ve never been. You’ll feel lost, unsure, and tempted to quit. Don't. Change feels chaotic because your old self is fighting for survival. Expect it to be a battle. But also expect to win.

Man to man: If you’re feeling lost, go back to what you loved as a kid. It usually leads you back to yourself. That version of you wasn’t trying to impress anyone or survive, just exploring. When you tap back into it, things start aligning again not perfectly, but honestly.

JoyBuy launched in Europe yesterday. And they're already selling the iPhone 17 Pro Max for 1349EUR. Amazon.de sells it for 1399. Exactly the same device. This is not Temu. JD.com owns the inventory. 1p model. They have 60+ warehouses across Europe. The same group owns 1000+ physical electronics stores across Europe. Same-day delivery. And their Price competitor, JoyPlus, costs 3.99EUR/month. How did they get here? They bought MediaMarkt and Saturn last year for 2.2blnEUR. So the infrastructure play is real. Why is this news? A new 1P player just entered the market, undercut your Amazon price on day one, and matched delivery speed. The brands that don't have real-time visibility into their margin across channels will be in trouble. The game just got more interesting. Way more.

Working on something ambitious is like climbing a mountain that’s covered in fog. You can't see a clear path to the top. You have to take a few steps into the unknown to be able to see the next few steps in front of you. Inevitably, sometimes you’ll end up a local maximum and have to backtrack. That’s fine, just keep moving.
