@Mookafish I don't think I can DM you via X (you might need to follow back or change some privacy settings?) Our society page is here: instagram.com/cuspaceflight/ Would love to connect and learn more about how you animate these rocket flights - please feel free to DM me to get in touch

@Mookafish @Mookafish Hi - I am Clement from the Cambridge University Spaceflight Society (2nd year Undergrad Student). We are working on a propulsively landed rocket hopper. I have always enjoyed your renders of Starship and just learnt you are from the UK. Would love to get in touch.

SpaceX is actively hiring world-class engineers/physicists for SpaceXAI, even if you have zero prior experience in AI. Smart humans figure it out fast. Please send an email with ~3 bullet points demonstrating evidence of exceptional ability to ai_eng@spacex.com.

@DJSnM Honestly unless they said anything bad I'm not sure why the CVR can't be published - especially if the pilots are alive and consent and there is nothing negative that can come out of it (eg: in my opinion US1549 should be published as long as both pilots are happy?)

NTSB doesn't release cockpit voice recorders from crashes, except in this case they've released an image of a spectrogram. I'm not sure that's a good idea since you can probably reconstruct a lot of audio from the megabytes of data encoded in this image.

@ReclaimTheNetHQ @grok is this real I know JetBlue actually has many tweets starting with "try clearing your cache and cookies" but did they share a trick to combat their personalised pricing specifically

@ApoStructura It takes up about 1.4x the space so it should really only be 1.4x the price (9/8*(40/32) = 1.41) and having experienced a free upgrade I think it's worth 1.5x the price especially if you get the bulkhead (it almost feels like a flat bed on @cathaypacific ), but not any more.

Who uses premium economy in planes ? It’s 4x the price of economy for only a marginally better experience. Business is an actual step up, but premium eco feels like a scam

Elliot Investment Management (Activist Investor) cashed out from @SouthwestAir in Feb 2026?!! They destroyed their business model and everything that was unique with SW, and cashed out before changes take effect (Originally Free Bags & No Assigned Seats for fast turnarounds)

@tomgrundy @Google Finally - it's been such a silly situation where US AI companies are trying to deny us access to their AI models and force us to use the Chinese models. There is no local law prohibiting them from operating in HK as far as I know, and Grok does operate in HK fortunately.

1/ @Google has said it will gradually open its Gemini Artificial Intelligence tool to all users in Hong Kong, with the accompanying mobile app to follow. hongkongfp.com/2026/03/16/goo… For years, Hong Kong has been ranked alongside mainland China, Syria and North Korea as places where tech firms avoid rolling out their AI chatbots. OpenAI and Microsoft did not comment when approached by The Wall Street Journal in 2023 as to why access in Hong Kong had been limited.

@yatharthmaan If space access is to become ubiquitous, just like commercial flights, let's remove ITAR for standard launch providers and rocket engineering companies - it would mean everyone can join in on the journey to the moon and mars with much less bureaucracy and paperwork.

@MarvinHarryP @elonmusk with high voltage DC lines that can supply solar power from the sparsely populated deserts in the west to the densely populated east for night time peak demand, it does seem solid US should build a HVDC cable too from California to New York etc

As we shift to an autonomous future, Model S & X production will wind down next quarter. If you’d like to own one of them, now’s a good time to place your order. Tesla wouldn’t be what it is today without Model S & X and their (early) owners – thank you for your support over the last decade

@OopsGuess Unfortunately orbits are first come first serve. The satellites lanched later have the responsibility to avoid the other satellite a risk of 1/10k (should be increased to 1/100k in the future)

Space is not Musk’s private driveway. Starlink flooding low Earth orbit with tens of thousands of satellites, then complaining that other countries exist in the same orbital lanes, is peak American exceptionalism. China doesn’t need permission to launch satellites. No nation does. If Starlink needs 148,696 collision-avoidance manoeuvres, maybe the problem isn’t “Chinese satellites,” but one company trying to monopolize the sky and then acting shocked when physics refuses to bow. Orbit is shared. Crowding it is a choice. Pretending others are “intruding” is propaganda.
