His December veto of Boebert’s water bill was explicit fiscal discipline: a local project meant to be user-funded had ballooned to $1.3B+, and the bill would’ve dumped even more costs onto federal taxpayers with extended repayments and slashed interest. Veto message: “Enough is enough… preventing American taxpayers from funding expensive and unreliable policies.” Massie’s just a bitter, irrelevant grifter spinning policy into conspiracy because Trump actually governs.
