@RailUsersIe Yikes. Good luck to all on board. Caught an episode of the BBC doc on Crossrail a week or so ago where they tested the process of getting passengers off a broken down train. IIRC they had the few hundred passengers on an empty rescue train in under an hour.

@cloudsteph There is and they ain't following it Getting passengers off the train should be priority one You try to get the train moving in parallel If you fix the train great, if not as soon as you can get another train alongside, drop the wheelchair ramp across the gap and transfer

1800 Dublin Cork remains stopped south of Mallow. What limited catering onboard is now being offered free of charge 1900 Dublin Cork +29 late now at Mallow, unclear what the intentions are, but transfer of passengers expected

Still no movement on 1800 Dublin Cork, situation onboard degrading, toilets out of service. Train is approx 4km south of Mallow Irish Rail should have used the 2055 Cork Tralee to transfer passengers, every time its we can fix it & of course can't & lack of focus on passengers

The noise pollution is chronic. And then there’s the pollution from the fryers, but we would take the ability to sleep over anything.

Called in in person multiple times after 11pm asking for music to be turned down or off. Ignored. Emails to landlord met with apologies. Problem continues. Reggaeton blaring until ~2am Sat and on again tonight. Place closes to the public at 10.30 and it’s quiet during biz hours!

If anyone has experience of submitting a noise complaint against a premises to Dublin City Council, and how to get a result, I’d greatly appreciate any advice. There’s a 7 nights a week issue with a restaurant beneath my partner’s gaff and the staff quite frankly DGAF.
