At this stage in my life (and the present Trans panic) I find myself simply uninterested in validity. My politic is built around the material needs of Trans people (medical, financial, social, etc). I have been and will continue to be inspired by those that *do* Transness.

It's hilarious because during estrogen shortage a few pharmacies in my town had been found telling trans women they didn't have estrogen left just so they could give it to their cis customers

Mom just asked me if trans women taking estrogen are considered medically necessary. I was like what? Turns out there’s a shortage of estrogen right now and women on it for health reasons can’t get it and doctors are telling these women that it’s bc trans women are taking it all

@MaeIsNotOk @AnarkAlex If I were to go without estrogen right now it would have a deteriorating effect on my body. HRT isn't just 'affirming', it actually does stuff to my body. Going without it would be horrible for my dysphoria, and it would send me into what's basically menopause.
