@mishtal Just behave like normal people. Killing babies is not normal. Stop it and then of course you can expect normal treatment. You might want to look at Zionism, it really doesnt help.

If violent and armed thugs can wreck a factory, break a police officer’s spine, and walk free because a jury has fallen for our media's demonisation of Israel, then there is simply no point pretending anymore. British Jews are not safe in the UK. We have no future here.

@MissLauraMarcus A mass of 'security' but very little hard evidence of what exactly it protects against - where are the actual attacks, etc? Crying Wolf only works so far. Bad strategy.

We Jews now need guards to pray, guards and security for celebrations like weddings and barmitzvahs. Guards on all our schools including nurseries. This is the new normal for Jews living in the UK. Surely you don’t have to be Jewish to be appalled by this?

@HenMazzig Playing your Moral Quiz, hiding (allegedly) one dead body doesnt seem remotely equivalent to actually killing another 500, all after a so- called ceasefire? Unless of course some people are more valuable than others, the Übermensch, now regaining currency in some circles.

Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad were required to release all hostages, living and dead, by October 13, 2025. Ran Gvili, the last hostage, was found on January 26, 2026, after extensive Israeli search operations. Hamas buried Ran in a cemetary alongside Palestinians. They didn’t “lost track” of him. All this time, they knew exactly where he was, and just hoped to keep him as a pawn. These terrorist groups violated the ceasefire they signed from the very first day.

It’s amazing the degree of denial and gaslighting required for society not to broadly recognize antizionism as genocidal. Antizionists have explicitly advocated for the complete dismantling of Israel, the erasure of Jewish culture, and the annihliation of Israeli Jews through violent “resistance” for decades.

@Smileyyeg @mishtal Please substatiate your figures for Palestinian births? Thanks. Hopefully not from the same 'fake' figures you use to deny the 'fake genocide' or Holocaust if you prefer? We should both agree journalistic access would help in all these matters now cover up. Why the cover up?

In over two years Hamas has claimed 70,000 deaths. Even by those numbers, it is widely estimated 20,000+ were terrorists - killed in an urban war Hamas started, and then deliberately fought from within civilian areas. Every civilian death is tragic. But the ratio implies something the media refuses to say out loud: Israel took extraordinary measures to reduce civilian deaths - in a battlefield Hamas had deliberately designed to maximise them. Israel also lost almost 500 soldiers in Gaza and that matters. It means Israel repeatedly chose to put boots on the ground instead of simply flattening areas from the air. It means Israel sacrificed its own children to reduce civilian deaths in Gaza. That is what restraint looks like in real war. And yet our streets were still flooded with protests screaming “genocide.” Our media obsessively demonised Israel and laundered Hamas propaganda as “truth.” Schools and workplaces became sewers of antisemitism. Jews were abused, threatened, attacked. Jews were even killed on their way to pray on Yom Kippur. And yet: The Iranians are being murdered by the Iranian regime for wanting freedom. The Kurds are being slaughtered by genocidal jihadists in Syria. There is no “complex context” here. No “ratio debate.” No “urban warfare.” Just Islamist violence against civilians. And this doesn’t even include the recent massacres by Islamic forces in Congo and Niger. So where are the marches? Where are the mass protests? Where is the media obsession? Where are the front pages, the special coverage, the endless moral outrage? Nowhere. 10,000+ in just 4 weeks, and nothing. If they’re forced to cover Iran, it’s brief, and disappears in hours. The Kurds get a token mention every few months. Islamist massacres against Christians in Africa are ignored for as long as possible. So the obsession is only Israel. The rage on our streets is only “Zionists.” It is only Jews who need to hide their identity in schools and workplaces. And only the Jews who meet in secret because the venues of their events cannot be made public. But yeah - sure - tell me this isn’t antisemitism.

@eyepodster @adam_louis52328 Happy to have my compass adjusted on good advice. How do you allow for the general cooperation of the Ottoman years and correlation of violence with Zionism's arrival? The issue was seldom Jew/Moslem, antisemitism was/is typically European, eg Balfour's "Jewish problem" etc.

The 7th century barbarism of Mohammad is alive and well throughout the Middle East (Gaza, the West Bank, Iran, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Sudan, Somalia, Yemen, Afghanistan, Libya, Pakistan, etc), except for Israel, a shining light of human rights by comparison, but you side with the former collection of hell-holes, revealing your broken moral compass.

Palestinian suffering is driven above all by antizionist violence, antizionist rejectionism, and the mass-martyrdom ideologies that have defined the movement for decades. Arab nationalist antizionist regimes made a deliberate choice to keep Palestinians in a permanent second-class, stateless condition in order to sustain an endless war against Jewish sovereignty. Antizionist Islamist groups then turned Palestinian suffering into a political weapon—manufacturing spectacle to generate global outrage, fuel hatred, and justify more violence. And Western antizionists, far from helping Palestinians, exploit that same spectacle for their own power, prestige, and gain. Amid all this, groups like Realign for Palestine highlight something too rarely acknowledged: the courage of Palestinians who want to build a future beyond antizionism, beyond perpetual war, and beyond the ideologies that have trapped them for generations.

@eyepodster @adam_louis52328 Your argument is difficult to sustain: Jewish Diaspora predates Mohammed and Human Rights are far more recent. On the contrary it's the Muslim Arab colonialism, ethnic cleansing, racism, forced conversions, and genocide that is the real human rights catastrophe in that region and everywhere it spreads. You don't see that because you apply a double standard when it comes to Jews and to Israel.

The Prince of Peace Jesus the Messiah of the Jews and Christ of the Christians cannot return unless the Jews are regathered to their Homeland to welcome him first. When Jesus comes back there will be universal world peace justice righteousness and everyone will know the Lord personally and live holy lives. Since you're against the Jews' return you're the one who is the cause of the wars and the suffering and the violence. Jesus said, "Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled." (Luke 21:24) "And they shall beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks: Nation shall not take up sword against nation; they shall never again know war." (Isaiah 2:4) Go ahead and try to stand against the purposes of the Creator of the Universe. Good luck with that.

Gaza has a border with Egypt. Are you saying that their fellow Arabs kept them in a concentration camp? After Israel pulled out in 2005 the border with Egypt was open: Google Gemini: "Between November 25, 2005, and June 25, 2006, the crossing was open regularly. Approximately 1,320 people crossed daily. In total, roughly 280,000 people used the crossing during this period. It was closed for only two days during these seven months." The situation only changed because of the kidnapping of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit and the takeover by Hamas of the Gaza strip, whose intention was the genocide of all Israeli Jews. If Gaza had remained peaceful after the 2005 Israeli pull out there would have been no restrictions on coming and going.

@Itgq134014 @adam_louis52328 Israel's 'legitimacy' is entirely dependant on its behaviour. A country which genocides its minorites, which steals land from its neighbours, lies about everything is not deserving of that respect. A 'terrorist state' now, but there is a different non zionist iteration. CHANGE

@adam_louis52328 Albanese NEVER believed in the legitimacy of Israel and its establishments. She never actually believed in the Israeli army, the government or the legal system. She will hide it of course but her rhetoric as you well described it, reveals her real intentions!

Francesca Albanese’s “Gaza Genocide: A Collective Crime” can be understood as an entirely formalized architecture of Accusation in a Mirror (AIM), in the sense identified by Kenneth Marcus. What the text seeks to construct is not simply an argument about conduct, but a comprehensive legal formalism through which the entire existence of Israel can be condemned as both apartheid and genocide—thereby legitimizing not only global boycotts and sanctions, but explicitly coercive “state intervention,” including military action and invasion, aimed at dismantling and annihilating Israel through violence. The argument works by collapsing legal distinctions until existence itself becomes criminal. The blockade of Gaza is redefined as occupation; occupation is redefined as starvation; starvation is redefined as “incipient genocide.” At the same time, because Israel is said to have failed to distinguish between the “occupied Palestinian territories” and Israel proper, the distinction itself is declared void. On this logic, Israel as a whole must be understood as occupation. In line with Amnesty International’s 2021 apartheid libel report, Israel as such is then defined as apartheid. Jewish and Israeli political existence is rendered criminal in itself. Israel’s existence in space—its territory, its geographic presence—is defined as apartheid, while Israel’s existence in time—its history, its duration—is defined as a protracted and ongoing genocide. Criminality is no longer tied to discrete acts or intentions, but to Israel’s being as such. On this basis, “resistance” to occupation is legitimized—including the mass slaughter of Israeli civilians—through an implicit reliance on Additional Protocol I to the Geneva Conventions, which uniquely extends combatant legitimacy to armed struggle against “racist” or “colonial” domination. Ordinary occupation law does not authorize such violence. Only through the colonizer libel—the racialization of Israel as a colonial regime and Israelis as “white settlers”—can violence against civilians be reclassified as “lawful” resistance rather than criminal terrorism. At the same time, by defining Israel’s very existence as an ongoing genocide, the text invokes the purported obligation to “prevent genocide,” thereby legitimizing coercive state action—sanctions, intervention, and military force—directed at Israel’s destruction. In other words, Albanese expresses genocidal intent—mens rea, dolus specialis—seeking the destruction of Israel as a national group, and advocating violence, including military action, as the means of achieving that end. “Gaza Genocide: A Collective Crime” is therefore not a legal analysis but a document of institutionalized genocidal incitement: an architecture of projection, an entire system of accusation constructed to legitimate the genocide of Israeli Jews.

Realign for Palestine is committed to a two-state solution, which will ensure non-stop violence just like in the past. That's what Gaza was, a mini two-state solution experiment and a colossal failure. It will make Israel's borders in defensible and probably require International troops from the UN or a coalition similar to the 2003 Iraq War. It shows weakness to the Arabs which emboldens them, because it gives them land that didn't belong to them, so they will want all of it. It ratifies the green line, the armistice line which is the result of the 1948 invasion by Jordan and Egypt of the sovereign state of Israel. It takes away the heartland of Israel and the location of its greatest historical milestones such as Hebron the birthplace of Abraham Isaac and Jacob of Bethlehem the birthplace of King David and Jesus, Shiloh the former capital of Israel, Bethel, the place of God's promises, and it divides East Jerusalem. Attorney Alan Dershowitz says that when a country such as Israel fights a defensive war and wins, it's natural for it to increase its territory as a deterrent to prevent future attacks. A two-state solution would be moving in the opposite direction the direction of capitulation, weakness, and surrender none of which any of the Arab countries respect. Customary international law relating to the formation of new countries states that in the absence of any partition plan or other agreement to divide a territory, the boundaries of a new country are the same as those of the last administrative state. The last administrative state of Israel was the British Mandate of Palestine, from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea and those are the rightful borders of Israel. It's time for the International community, Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, Iraq, and Syria to accept responsibility for their illegal invasion of Israel in 1948 and to resettle the Arab refugees and their descendants in the huge lands of the Arab League countries and leave Israel alone in its original defensible borders. Honor the borders of the British Mandate just as the other borders of the mandates were honored when they became independent: Lebanon, Iraq, Jordan, Syria, and new boundaries for Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Iran.
