@scottish_party @SaorAlbannach The short answer is he put his hand up too high in the first place, just shouldn't have been there. At that point your running a serious risk of giving something away, there's very little room for a ref to give the benefit of the doubt

@scottish_party @SaorAlbannach My opinion is the handball is clear but probably didn't make a difference to the direction of the ball, but the arm was too high and dangerous. I thought a foul for that would be fair enough. I can also understand why the ref gave it for handball.

It's genuinely funny to see a fan base that still raises a delayed player registration from 30 years ago insist that there's absolutely nothing suspicious about the SFA. I've spotted five main attempts at Celtic fan sophistry this week: 1) Claim that any criticism is motivated by anti-catholic and anti-irish bigotry. Don't bother checking the posting history of whom you accuse. 2) Assert that corruption is ok because Hearts benefitted from mistakes, but remember to omit all the other ones that went against them, or the other ones that favoured Celtic or otherwise make imbecilic claims re; the rules of the game. 3) Pretend that you would see nothing wrong with a Hearts fan appointing Edinburgh referees who then made 'mistakes' that benefited Hearts resulting in Celtic losing the title. 4) Pretend that the KMI panel, appointed by the SFA, is no different to your mates blethering in the pub. 5) Accept that refereeing standards are bad, but insist that Celtic had it worse because [insert other claim from years ago] and that 14 out of the last 15 league titles is, err, evidence of that.

@FaeTheYY Underrated moment was when wee Gordon Strachan had to be told live on an after match interview that his Celtic side had qualified from the champions league group stage into the last 16 with a game to spare.

@SaorAlbannach Where's the accountability from hearts? Their form this year has been poor, probably maintained their title push with the unlikely occurrence of not conceeding a penalty until the last game of the season.

As I've said, there will be many decent and reasonable Celtic fans that, deep down, know what happened. They know that if what happened to Hearts had occurred to Celtic, that they'd be disgusted. All they have is deflection until they accept that they're basically the Scottish version of Olympique Marseille in 1992. And the whole world can see it.
Billy_.@TheQuietKid18

A red card not given to a Celtic player later confirmed to be the wrong decision by the KMI Panel. A penalty not given to Hearts later to be confirmed as the wrong decision by the KMI Panel. A penalty given to Celtic later confirmed as the wrong decision by the KMI Panel. Any one of these decisions being gave correctly and Hearts are champions for the first time in 40 years. But a couple of apologies and everybody has to pretend it’s ok?? Country’s a laughing stock.

@atp_celtic @CelticBlog2018 Part of the ruling is theyre saying its not conclusive that it hit his hand, because there was disagreement on that its automatically considered to be subjective therfore not something VAR should be looking at. I don't know who could look at that and not conclusively see handball

Why do people give a fuck what the KMI panel says? IT HAS NO VALIDITY! A collection of ex-Ibrox players, Daily Record writers and Bobby Madden ... I mean I wouldn't have given a fuck had they approved the Motherwell decision. I certainly don't give a shit that they rejected it.

Sky pundits saying it hits his head due to the force it goes back. They do know it's possible it hit both? It's very clear it hits both his hand and head at the same time. Bitter, bitter bastards

There’s been a lot of discourse around these new deals, with many fans seeing them as lacking ambition. My take is that they are ‘needs must’ deals. With 6 loanees potentially returning to their parent clubs, Schmeichel & Oxlade-Chamberlain out of contract, the Captain weighing up his options, and another half-a-dozen players with interest / recent bids from elsewhere, we have a huge summer rebuild on our hands. It’s important to have a core group of settled players to ease that transition.

Been wanting to write about this for ages. Its insane that most humans dont even know the name a company that literally runs this planet. But theyre all experts on Middle Easter politics down the pub because of youtube conspiracy nonsence and shite talk in work. There is this magic megacorp called BlackRock and unlike that yuppie ghetto in Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown it wields elegant and astonishing power. BlackRock manages over $10 trillion in assets, more than the GDP of every country in this planet except for the United States and China. They operate a proprietary risk-management software called Aladdin, which monitors and analyzes over $20 trillion in assets for thousands of other investment firms and banks. So its like the central nervous system of global finance. Through its index funds, BlackRock is a top-three shareholder in nearly every major company in the S&P 500, including giants like Apple, Microsoft, and Amazon. I`m not great with numbers so its easier to think of BlackRock as the fourth branch of government for what you likely think are purely geographical countries. I wont even get in to how it essentially ran nations during the 2008 financial crisis and the 2020 pandemic via emergency bond-buying programs and book balancing. Oh and one of the great tricks it uses is a type of financial artistocratic inbreeding, basically a circular ownership loop. BlackRock is a major shareholder in the very banks that own stakes in BlackRock, a clever consolidation of power among a few elite firms. But thats not enough for global domination, you need to own or finance critical infrastructure worldwide. Yokes like oil pipelines, power grids and telecommunications. BlackRock is the shadow landlord to modern civilization. And it effectively ownes the whole Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria the UN enforces. BlackRock used its voting power to force major changes in how global corporations operate regarding climate and social policy. Its not evil, its actually environmentally sound because a dead Earth isnt profitable. It even chooses to contract the global ecomony by redirected trillions of dollars it doesnt need (who would they trade with, Mars?) into passive funds, which on a worldwide scale reduces market competition because BlackRock owns stakes in all competitors in a single industry. Same reason its gigantic scale allows it to not only anticipate market trends it just creates them, then profits and shrinks the competition without even trying. So please, at least consider who presidents work for before you start deciding what motivates the ministers who work a few years in a given cabinet whilst these elements are unchanging for centuries to come. Stick James Tavernier in any of our most successful teams in history & does he have 5x the Trophies, for me, probably yes! Stick Barry Ferguson, Richard Gough, Davie Weir or Lorenzo Amoruso in some of the squads James Tavernier has played in & do you get more success, for me, probably not. Unfortunately James Tavernier didnt have Andy Goram, Richard Gough, Stuart McCall around him defensively , Ferguson, Gazza or deBoer controlling games or Laudrup, Mols & McCoist destroying teams up the top-end, he basically had neither of that for large spells. The Trophy Count isn't that of a Rangers Captain but that definitely doesnt sit solely on his shoulders Legend 💙

Unpopular opinion: Leasing a brand new car is the most financially illiterate thing normalised in the UK. You're paying £500/month for something that loses 40% of its value by the time you hand it back. Then you sign up for another one. A £5,000 used car does the exact same job. Gets you from A to B. Doesn't care about your ego. The difference over 10 years? Roughly £60k. Your car isn't a flex. It's a monthly donation to a dealership. Agree or disagree? 👇
