Luther on One's Worthiness Before the Sacrament: "No one will live so well that he will not have many daily weaknesses in flesh and blood. Such people must learn that it is the highest art to know that our Sacrament does not depend upon our worthiness. We are not baptized because we are worthy and holy. So General Caine cited Article 92 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice on Saturday night, as he refused Trumps order to execute a nuclear strike on Iran. Trump is insane. He is a real threat to the world. It's frightening that no one in the United States moves to remove this man.

Ratzinger was a phenomenal theologian who also had genuine concern for both upholding traditional Roman Catholic doctrine while objectively considering the doctrines of churches outside his own, and especially the Lutheran church.

“Christianity began with a book, the Scriptures we call the Old Testament!” Actually, Christianity began with an event. The life, crucifixion, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It was that event that gave rise to the Church, which first preached the Gospel orally. And it was that same Church, grounded in that event, that later wrote and preserved the New Testament, and authoritatively determined which books belong in the Bible.

Who cares!!! That's what you are. The Catholic Church was the only Christian church in the first 450 years of Christianity. The Oriental Orthodox broke away from the Catholic Church in 451 AD after the Catholic Council of Chalcedon rejected the Coptic doctrine of Monophysitism. In the first over 1,000 years of Christianity it was only the Oriental Orthodox, Church of the East, and Catholic Church. The Catholic Church didn’t inherit the universal name, it maintained it for 2,000 years. Catholic means one universal unified faith in one universal unified 2,000 year old church that came from Jesus and the apostles. Not a universe of divided churches that came from 16th or 21st century traditions of men that believe completely different things. Nobody believed your 16th century nonsense before the 16th century. Protestants were the first Mormons.

You are not Catholic. You protest Catholic. It's in your 16th century name. You are a P-R-O-T-E-S-T-A-N-T Own it. Protestants are the transgenders of Christianity. Your beliefs align with ancient 2,000 year old Apostolic Christianity in the same way that a transgender woman is a woman. Just because you like the label doesn’t mean it magically applies to you. It doesn't.

Protestantism requires you to believe Christ founded a Church that failed almost immediately, that the gates of hell prevailed against it, and that it remained lost for 1,500 years until private interpretation and thousands of mutually contradictory denominations came along to restore it.
