Huge amounts of oil are spilling down the Los Angeles River
A construction crew struck and ruptured an underground oil pipeline in East Los Angeles
“A significant amount of oil in the LA River after an oil pipeline was ruptured — When the oil pipeline was ruptured, oil spilled into the streets, into a storm drained eventually into the LA River.”
I found out approximately 2,400 gallons of crude oil spilled
Officials estimate oil traveled roughly 8 miles downstream in the river. It has not reached the ocean entering Long Beach yet
Cleanup is underway with hazmat teams and vacuum trucks

If that addict on your street were your own son, what would you do? That is the defining question that guides my 5 step plan to fix the homelessness problem in LA. We *must* end this evil racket of corrupt politicians and NGOs who profit off the misery of these poor souls. They launder money and feed them more drugs, so they can keep their customers locked in this hell on our streets. We have a moral obligation from God to help them and make our city safe and clean for everyone. Karen Bass and Nithya Raman have forsaken this city. Time for real leadership. Time for real compassion.

Just got off a productive call with the USDA where I learned Ridglan Farms has been told to surrender their federal breeding license by July 1 or the USDA would take official action.
They also gave us an official answer on how many dogs are left at Ridglan: 650. Even though Ridglan is losing their state (and potentially federal) licenses, it doesn't stop the on-site research they're conducting. I'll continue to work with the USDA and NIH to shut down the entire facility and find homes for the 650 remaining dogs!

🇮🇱🇨🇾 Security at a Cyprus airport stopped a 24-year-old Israeli man and found 4 human embryos in his luggage, stored in a cryogenic container labeled "Life Pack," bound for Mexico via Istanbul.
The embryos came from an IVF clinic in northern Nicosia operating without proper authorization. No health ministry approval had been issued to remove them from the country.
He's charged with illegal transport of human tissue. The embryos are in evidence.
The question nobody's answered yet: whose embryos were they, and who was waiting for them in Mexico?

#BREAKING Evacuation orders remain in effect for thousands of Garden Grove residents Friday due to a toxic chemical leaking from a large storage tank at an aerospace facility.
Officials said there are two options left remaining, "One, the tank fails and spills a total of about six-to-seven thousand gallons of very bad chemicals into the parking lot in that area -- or two, the tank goes into a thermal runaway and blows up."

An Oregon father whose 5-year-old daughter was raped and killed by Dustin Wallace has published a heartbreaking video asking for help to prevent the release of his child's killer.
Tyler Dwight says Wallace, who received life in prison without parole, will likely be released after Democrats passed Bill 1008, which allows convicted inmates who committed crimes while under the age of 18 to have their sentences reduced.
Wallace murdered Sahara Dwight in 2010 when he was 16. His release hearing is scheduled for June 3.
