When you look back up and see how far you’ve come, it’s such a great feeling of: “Wow, I just did that.” Just like that, you forget about all the fear you had at the top. So, for anyone who’s standing at the edge of the bowl right now, I hope this offers some encouragement.

When you’re standing on top of the rim of a bowl and you’re looking down, all you’re thinking is: “There’s no way I can do that.” But it’s eclipsed very quickly as soon as you push yourself over the edge of the bowl.

When I left a previous role one of the pieces of advice that I left was a skiing metaphor. ⛷️ I’m thinking about this metaphor again now that my journey at @Buildium is coming to an end so I wanted to share it with you:

#Dadvice of the week: Prioritize the relationships that matter. It sounds cliche but the more you work, the more you realize how important it is to spend time with the people you love. At the end of the day, it’s your loved ones who are going to be there for you.
