A plea from the prime minister of Pakistan appears to have swayed both President Trump and the Iranian regime to agree to a two-week ceasefire deal in exchange for temporarily opening the Strait of Hormuz.
Here's how the deal unfolded: abcnews.link/eb0sqvN

Pakistan's PM says the ceasefire was violated "at few places"
Doesn't mention Israel or Iran

An MAJOR Saudi oil pipeline just got hit by an Iranian drone This pipeline is Saudi's lifeline to bypass the Strait of Hormuz (which remains pretty much shut) Today has been a strong contender for "most pathetic start to a ceasefire" in recent memory.

@FirstSquawk US department of war must be in a parallel universe or is day dreaming regarding Iran.
They are literally threatening doesn't feel like Iran is the one which begged for ceasefire at all.
Feels like trump surrendered completely due to fear of loosing elections in the coming months
English

@GBX_Press Hegseth said Iran begged for a ceasefire, maybe in his dream🤣
English

@MrnBy63528 @HormuzLetter If Iran has the strength, it should collect from those countries who did this destruction, not looting other countries who weren't involved in this war.
English

@HormuzLetter So, 20,000 buildings, universities, civilian areas, a total of 100,000 homes were hit. Where is Iran going to get that money from? What nonsense are you talking about?
English

BREAKING: Iran is demanding $1 per barrel of oil passing through the Strait of Hormuz, payable in cryptocurrency, per FT.
At pre-war Hormuz traffic of roughly 20 million barrels per day, the per-barrel fee would generate approximately $7.3 billion annually for Iran, collected outside the US dollar banking system.
The per-barrel fee may apply alongside the previously reported $2 million per-ship transit fee, which would push combined annual revenue to roughly $50 billion at pre-war volumes.
English

@ILRedAlert Then why did you run away, could have taken out the rest and could have controlled the oil as you did in Venezuela.
The truth is America lost.

Top U.S. General Caine says over 13,000 targets were struck in Iran, destroying 80%+ of air defenses, 450+ ballistic missile storage sites, and 2,000 command and control nodes. Over 90% of the regular navy fleet, 90% of drone factories, and 80% of missile facilities were destroyed. 62 bomber missions were flown, 18 lasting over 30 hours.
English

@ILRedAlert Yeah right then Hegseth should live in Israel for few days without air defence
English

@ILRedAlert We all know who sent a draft message for a ceasefire to Pak PM for posting on X.
English

Secretary of Defence Pete Hegseth and CoS Caine are currently having a press conference.

@mumbletty @FirstSquawk No one was liberated, radical islamic regime still very much exists, even now is any person protests for their rights in Iran, they will be shot to death. None of the war objectives were achieved.
English

@cmohan2397 @FirstSquawk We should be compensated for liberating Iran.
English

@MarioNawfal So Iran will start bombing Israel again as they said they will start bombing Israel if the Strikes on Lebanon continue.
English

🇱🇧🇮🇱 IDF just hit Hezbollah with its biggest strike yet: 100 targets across Beirut, Bekaa Valley, and south Lebanon in 10 minutes flat.
Command centers, rocket sites, elite Radwan Force across the country are all being hit simultaneously.
U.S.–Iran ceasefire holds for Hormuz, but Netanyahu made it clear: Lebanon front stays wide open.

🚨 BREAKING: 🇺🇸🇮🇷 Trump: "THE U.S. WILL WORK CLOSELY WITH IRAN" - The U.S. will work closely with Iran after what he calls a “very productive Regime Change” - No uranium enrichment allowed - U.S. and Iran will together dig up and remove all deeply buried nuclear “Dust” - Everything remains under heavy Space Force satellite surveillance - Nothing has been touched since the attack - U.S. will discuss tariff and sanctions relief with Iran Many of the 15 points already agreed
English

@i24NEWS_EN And anyone who thinks that Iranians will allow Americans to dig up the uranium under diplomatic environment are the most stupid people on Earth, Trump may be one of them🤣

How Pakistan helped secure a fragile ceasefire between the US and Iran bbc.in/41YITE1
English

@clashreport Yeah coma patient mojtaba was awake close to the deadline and now he might be back to coma, according to this report.
English

Just hours before Trump’s deadline to launch massive strikes, Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei instructed negotiators to move toward a deal for the first time since the war began.
An Israeli official, a regional official, and another source confirmed the shift.
Two sources described Khamenei’s approval as:
“A breakthrough.”
A regional source added:
“Without his green light, there wouldn’t have been a deal.”
Due to assassination threats, Khamenei was communicating via handwritten notes carried by runners.
He was personally involved in decisions Monday and Tuesday.
Araghchi (Iran’s FM) pushed both the negotiations and Revolutionary Guard commanders toward accepting the deal.

@FORRFORRFORR @EndGameWW3 Iran doesn't care how many number of their generals or people have lost their lives. Iran has retained it radical islamic regime, missile capability, enriched uranium and also will gain from new toll system from Hormuz. Where did America win here.
English

@cmohan2397 @EndGameWW3 Iran lost most of their leadership personnel and thousands of soldiers while the US lost only a handful of Americans. They’ve caved whenever the Trump applied pressure in the form of a Truth Social post. Is this even a question?
