I’ve said it before, I’ll keep saying it, more attention really needs to be paid to the role social stigma/shaming has on a technology’s success or failure.
People don’t want to be accused of wearing Meta “Pervert Glasses,” and companies don’t want their names fused with “slop.”

I will never understand anyone that defends what FIFA has done to the 2026 World Cup. The games will be good despite FIFA, not because of them. Through their greed they have killed excitement, isolated a huge portion of the fans and turned this into an elitist event. I’d not be surprised if we end up with a few half empty stadiums for the first time in World Cup history.

Exactly. But tbh, that is mostly coming from the fanbase, who have every right to be euphoric and confident after beating Real Madrid for the first time in 14 years. With Kompany, I’m not worried one bit the team might get carried away.

It's a good view in my opinion to not have a limit. It's one opinion. 75 percent of the games, in my opinion, would be a logical thing. That would be 61.5 games, right? So, 62 games?
There are some interesting questions. I don't think there's going to be an exception made for this year. I think it would be somewhat unfair. But we'll see how it turns out."

It's not an exclusive when Bayern's entire hierarchy has been saying this for months. It just shows that at best, other fans have zero idea how Bayern Munich functions. At worst, it shows that some can't read.

Wemby just spent like 5 minutes discussing the merits of the 65-game rule with all of us in his post game presser. Most surprising was that he said there should be a threshold and then asked us all to pick what we think should be the right threshold.
