The impediment to action advances action. What stands in the way becomes the way. - Aurelius In our recent projects, we've focused on partnering with organizations feeling stuck. This is when the pain is most acute & the drive for change is strongest. What do you think?

Can "Unlock & Unstuck" be a new mantra? It shows the transformative power of obstacles, turning challenges into catalysts for progress.

Initially, the challenges seemed overwhelming, but by addressing these obstacles head-on, we helped them revitalize their approach, fostering a culture of creativity and teamwork. This experience reinforced that challenges often hold the key to transformative progress.

We worked with a mission-based organization whose leadership team felt bogged down in daily operational grind, stifling innovation and collaboration.

The greatest luck generator - show up! It’s hard to beat a person who keeps showing up everyday. It shifts from winning to outlasting. A very different game. - Alex Hormozi

Ooooh, these are spectacular :D I have a few favorites, but my opinion matters very little. What do YOU think?

I'm working on logo design for @arvidkahl and his awesome Podscan. Here's our progress so far. What's your take, people? Which logo best represents his podcast scanning tool? Be gentle though, these are just initial rough sketches :)

Class: Teach Your Issue! This is one of my favorite exercises from my coach and the Conscious Leadership group. When an issue keeps happening in your business (or your life), pull people together and pretend you just got hired to “teach a class” on creating that exact issue. It’s a powerful reflection exercise, here’s an example: Say your CAC is too high consistently. Name the class: “Keep your CAC high” Then write very specific instructions on how to create that Issue, could be: + Pick a product in a competitive vertical + Don’t actually become an expert in Meta ads + Keep hiring and firing a new agency + Have too many channels running + Don’t track well The idea is to fully see how your actions are creating what you are experiencing. Some questions that often help with this reflection: What do you have to believe about yourself, others, and the world? + What actions do you take or not take? + What are you trying to control that is NOT in your control? + What do you have to be right about? + What do you withhold and from whom? + What do you not face? It takes 15-30 mins usually and brings IMMENSE clarity and helps overcome an issue. Try it and tell me what you think. I included a worksheet in the tweet below! If you found this helpful, share it with one person you know and follow me, I’m bootstrapping a venture studio and sharing what I know as I go.

It's time to take the compliment sandwich off the menu. Sticking criticism between two slices of praise is disingenuous and ineffective. A better approach is care and coach. Explain that you're committed to their growth, and ask if they're interested in your suggestions. adamgrant.substack.com/p/stop-serving…

As Earth wraps up its yearly trip around the sun, it's like the universe saying, Ta-da! Another lap done! A reminder that our 365-day fuss is just a tiny blip in space. Happy New Year—where our drama might just a little spin in the big universe, but let's make this orbit count!"

You need 4 habits: One that builds your mind. One that builds your body. One that builds your business. One that builds your relationships. The good life is the process of becoming everything you could be.

I spent two days with a group of 50 multimillionaire entrepreneurs in Texas. Here are 10 things I learned: 1. Extraordinary people are just ordinary people willing to play a game for an extraordinary length of time. Very few people are willing to play a game for decades. If you are, you have an unfair advantage. 2. Sharpen the axe before chopping down the tree. Most of these entrepreneurs spent years identifying their key i business insight. That might look like wasted time, but it allowed them to deploy their energy with 100 or 1000x leverage later on. 3. You’ve gotta like hitting the ball. Novak Djokovic is famous for saying that he has been able to perform at such an extraordinary level because he likes hitting a tennis ball. No matter what you’re doing, you’ll only be able to do it at the top 1% level if you enjoy doing it. You can fake it in the short term, but not for decades. 4. Content is an incredible form of business leverage. Warren Buffett was one of the OG business content creators via his annual shareholder letters. Using content to attract people to your ideas and thinking is a way to play business on Easy Mode. 5. Acting in service of others is the path to lasting fulfillment in business. Those who play the game on another level all seem to ground themselves in the service of others as opposed to personal financial goals. Create value, receive value. 6. Authenticity > Everything. Being true to your core values is as important in business as it is in life. You can fake a character for a day, a week, or a year, but you can’t fake it for decades. 7. Be the first reader. Stephen King once said, “I’m not only the writer, I’m the first reader.” Create something you would be thrilled to consume, whether content, products, or services. If you honor this high bar, you’ll be on the right track. 8. Do you know what you're saying YES to? Everyone talks about saying NO to things, but unless you truly know what you're saying YES to, you'll have a hard time saying NO to anything. For me, saying YES to meaningful work, my closest loved ones, and my health are non-negotiables. 9. The energy you bring to your home life will govern your relationships with your partner and children. There are seasons of life when your professional pursuits may take up more of your time, but you can still control the energy you bring home. When you're with your family, be WITH YOUR FAMILY. Present energy is what matters. 10. Hunt antelope, not field mice. Stop wasting your time and energy on small decisions with small rewards. Your energy is limited, use it to hunt the antelope. *** Those were 10 key learnings that everyone needs to hear. If you enjoyed this or learned something, follow me @SahilBloom for more in future.
