@LoneStarLegendX @IamMillyMixon Place cameras in private schools that accept voucher/ESA money too. Every tax dollar used for education, regardless of the institution, should be treated the same way and come with the same strings attached.
English

@IamMillyMixon Simple solution, but schools won‘t allow.
Cameras in EVERY classroom and hallway with parental access to live views during all school hours.
It would change the behavior of the administrators, teachers, and students forever.
At this point, needs to happen immediately.
English

Texas House Bill 2 - signed into law last session by Greg Abbott allowed for $8.5Billion in new funding for teachers in Texas. Yet, somehow the administrators seem to be reaping all the reward.
Also, this + building $100M football stadiums are reasons your property taxes are so high.
Are you tired of watching all of your tax dollars going to fraud, waste, and abuse yet?

Tell me again how clubs, teams, and travel teams aren't scams?
My $ 80-per-season son's soccer team beat a $ 5k-per-kid club team.
Somewhere along the way, youth sports stopped being about kids and started being about parents.
Club sports promise:
• better coaching
• more exposure
• better competition
• scholarships
But the numbers tell a different story.
Only about 1% of high school athletes get a college athletic scholarship.
And most of those aren’t even full rides.
Meanwhile, families are spending:
• $3k–$7k a year on club teams
• travel flights
• hotels every weekend
• private trainers
• camps
Over 10 years, that’s easily $50k+ per kid.
For youth soccer.
At 10 years old.
Meanwhile, rec sports still do what youth sports were originally meant to do:
Kids play with friends.
Parents sit in lawn chairs.
Everyone grabs pizza after the game.
Low pressure.
Pure fun.
And kids who love the game usually end up getting better anyway.
Our $80 rec team proved that last weekend.
So I’m curious…
Are travel sports actually for the kids…

I texted a coach this morning and asked how the new job was going after about a month.
His response was one I’ve heard many times… and lived myself:
“Not bad. Some kids pushing back culture wise. Always worried about staff and numbers.”
If you go into a program and start making the changes that need to be made, be ready for pushback.
That’s normal.
My advice to him:
Water the good grass.
Don’t let the weeds hold you hostage.
Too many coaches start looking the other way because they want to keep players and coaches happy.
They convince themselves they can slowly change the culture.
It doesn’t work that way. Culture doesn’t drift in the right direction. It moves toward the standard you enforce.
Stay strong to your principles.
The right grass will grow. 🌱🏈

This will happen in Texas unfortunately where almost 6 million public school students reside! Our elected officials have neglected Public Schools which serve 93% of the student population for far too long. New leadership is needed. Texas deserves the best for kid’s & teachers!
The Shumater@The_Shumater
New report shows that compared to other states, Arkansas woefully underfunds its public schools, which serve 95% of students, while wasting more than $300M a year on voucher subsidies that benefit fewer than 50,000 families. #arpx #arnews buff.ly/YVle9UA

As an AD with a child who plays sports, I understand the struggle of separating parent, coach, and administrator.
My kid has been cut.
He has sat the bench.
He has had to fight his own battles when things were not going his way and he had to talk to the coach.
My kid has found success.
My kid has learned to work hard.
I have never once spoken on his behalf to a coach.
Why? Because learning to advocate for yourself and overcome adversity is what shapes you into who you become.
Growth does not come from protection. It comes from perseverance. I do this because I love him.

Cultural decline doesn’t start in public — it starts in the home.
No structure.
No accountability.
No example of discipline or respect.
Children raised without values become adults without direction.
Strong families aren’t just private matters —
they’re the infrastructure of a functioning society.
Rebuild the foundation.

"It's not the police who need to be retrained, it's the public. We have grown into a mouthy, mobile phone wielding, vulgar, uncivil society with no personal responsibility and the attitude of 'it's the other person's fault, you owe me'. A society where children grow up with no boundaries or knowledge or concern for civil society and personal responsibility.
When an officer says "Put your hands up," then put your hands up! Don't reach for something in your pocket, your lap, your seat. There's plenty of reason for a police officer to feel threatened, there have been multiple assaults and ambushes on police officers lately. Comply with requests from the officer, have your day in court. Don't mouth off, or fight, or refuse to comply... that escalates the situation.
Police officers are our sons and daughters, fathers and mothers, brothers and sisters. They're black, white, brown, all colors, all ethnicities, all faiths, male and female, they are us. They see the worst side of humanity... the raped children, the bloody mangled bodies of traffic victims, the bruised and battered victims of domestic violence, homicide victims, body parts... day after day.
They work holidays while we have festive meals with our families. They miss school events with their kids, birthdays, anniversaries, all those special occasions that we take for granted. They work in all types of weather, under dangerous conditions, for relatively low pay.
They have extensive training, but they are human. When there are numerous attacks on them, they become hyper vigilant for a reason, they have become targets. When a police officer encounters any person... any person, whether at a traffic stop, a street confrontation, an arrest, whatever... that situation has the potential to become life threatening. You, Mr & Mrs/Miss Civilian, also have the responsibility of keeping the situation from getting out of control.
Many law enforcement officers are Veterans. They've been in service to this nation most of their lives, whether on the battlefield or protecting us here at home. They are the only thing that stands between us and anarchy in the streets.
If you want to protect your child, teach them respect."

If I Ruled the World, I would instruct the presidents of every media outlet to air this video in prime time. I would instruct every professor in every university to show it in every class. And then, I would freeze every social media account, until the owners of said accounts watched this seven minute public service announcement in its entirety. However, because I don't rule the world, and because I don't really harbor authoritarian tendencies, (I think,) I can only share the wisdom of Mr. Hudson on my personal page and encourage you to do the same. And invite him onto my podcast, at his convenience.

🚨 CHIEF OF CHICAGO POLICE NAILED IT: "Let me make this CLEAR! Federal agents, ICE, HSI, are officers. They are agents of law enforcement." 🇺🇸
"We need to be clear about these laws. We cannot become a society where we just decide to take everything in our own hands and start to commit crimes against law enforcement!"
"It is a crime. You may not like what they're doing. I can understand that there's a lot of emotions out there, but that does NOT mean that you get to commit a crime, especially one that could lead to deadly force."
"We need to keep everyone safe. Our responsibilities when it comes to federal agents, and I've been asked these questions, we do not interfere with the duties and responsibilities of federal agents." - stated in Oct. 2025
Even in CHICAGO, you can stand with ICE and all federal agents.
The Minneapolis Police Chief should be saying this RIGHT NOW.
