Illinois head coach Bret Bielema took to Twitter to express his frustration about QB Kamden Lopati decommitting from the Illini (swipe). The four star passer is now trending to Michigan, and Bielema indicated that he believes it was due to a large NIL package from the Wolverines. Bielema is known for making his opinions known over Twitter, but it’s mot usually this extreme. He said he’d been hearing “several million things” 😳 Thoughts?

@BobGreenburg Can’t say enough about this young man’s drive and work ethic. If you ever saw a Mustang football game, you know that he was constantly in motion. He took great care of the coaches, players and officials. I think he first told me in 8th or 9th grade that he wanted to coach. 🏈👍🏼

GREAT STORY:
2018 Mercer High School graduate Jon Carl Hostetler is a football coach for Division 1 Troy! He never played football but served as a team manager for head coach Pat McClearn.
Jon Carl attended the University of Akron where he immediately became involved in the football program as a manager. Eventually he became a full-time member of Joe Moorhead's staff. He is now at Troy as a member of the support staff where he works with the special teams.
