Monday we lost someone who was a huge fan of our team (and vice versa). Bruce made summer morning workouts feel less early and always more smiley. He loved a fast start to runs, I think so he could maximize time with good company coming back.

There's something about Boulder ... Liliane Aittama picked up her second 800-meter title in as many meets on the track at the Ford Indoor Practice Facility! With a raw time of 2:09.33, she paced the Falcons to a 1️⃣-2️⃣ finish!

Belated regional update: As they did all year the girls showed up and competed hard finishing 9th with a :42 spread among stellar competition. Izzy and Meghan went out like you hope your seniors will: with PRs and big smiles, and the young crew is already excited for what’s next.

TFC featured speaker, @Tony_Villani_ correctly says game speed in the NFL is 14-17 mph. Too many people use this to justify slow players who max out at 20 mph. As Tony says, "Speed is the PRIORITY, not the MAJORITY." 22.23 mph, 12 pounds of pads, fatigued. ⚡️⚡️⚡️

Alleged 9th graders Sofia Kang and Natalie Coulter placed 10th and 16th overall earning all-conference honors! This is just the 5th time in school history that East Girls XC has had multiple all-conference finishers!

41 year old me would have been frustrated and disappointed with this run, 61 year old me is like eff yeah! Wonderful family, amazing friends and the BEST colleagues in the world.
