Been taking a little break from modern to play vcube but had a nice 5-0 today with boros. Back on 2 Blood Moon instead of Ranger Captain. Of course ran into Belcher and Storm, but won both with Orim's Chant. Sided in Wear // Tear in every match. Super versatile. @fireshoes

Back to back 5-0's for my 2nd and 3rd trophies of the season. A few notes: 1: Ranger captain doesn't feel good but I'll keep trying it. 2: Encampment has won me some games and I think it's worth running. 3: Soul-guide lantern is 100% better than surgical right now. @fireshoes

another two 5-0s with boros. swapped out 1 surgical for a soul guide lantern bc of living end, storm, and the occasional rakdos gy deck. mainboard feels great but might try ranger cap at some point @fireshoes

@Getwingsz @fireshoes molten rain is the most versatile, coming in vs etron, ramp, titan, belcher, and control (need to cut ur removal). charmaw is notably better vs etron, but worse against ramp, especially when the ramp players know to play around charmaw.

starting off the season hot 14-1 with a close loss to yawg. with nobody playing titan, belcher, and goryo's i feel like it's correct to just stock up on sb hate against storm and eldrazi tron/ramp. matchups + list below @fireshoes

@karsten_frank unsure why everyone stopped playing boros hate at vegas. my 2 goryo’s opps had no wrath/pc. titan opp had no sweeper, 2 affinity opps had no whipflares, and 2 blink opps had no mainboard wraths. explains 45% wr at pt -> 54% at rcs

5-2 in this morning’s challenge with my post rc list I love how much my winrate in magic has improved when I realized that instead of playing deranged decks I could play good decks with deranged cards :) Also fuck Thanksgiving, Amerikkka is stolen land!

Finished 11-4 for 50th place at @SCGCON RC Vegas playing Boros! 22 lands was the right call Had a great time hanging out with the #400goblins crew, 4/9 of us made day 2, Matt was the ONLY Samwise player who made day 2, and @coastae made top64! @fireshoes
