@michelleakin Update. I had some semi-focaccia style dough rising anyways so I lubed up a cast iron and put it on the grill and called it focaccia. I did not have hot dogs and I had already planned / prepped pinto beans and rice for dinner. It was not the same meal but it was good.

We have never once claimed our system is working. But that doesn’t matter. It’s the system right now and servers still need to be paid. But no, Europeans notoriously do NOT tip. Servers often take turns rotating who has to take tables for European tourists because it isn’t uncommon for an American server to LOSE money on a European table because they order a lot of drinks and the server has to tip the bartender and busser regardless of if the server gets tipped.
