@codegirl007 Playing video games is the only way my husband will sit still so I encourage it. He works so hard. I think his body needs a break but his mind just keeps going and going.

Not true. My husband played a lot of games when we first started dating. I hated it. However, over time, I realized that the reason I hated it was because I was measuring his time actively spent with me as how much he cared about me. Over time, he stopped playing games because I'd get mad and he loved our relationship more.
But as I became a more secure person in my relationship, I focused on my hobbies more. Went out with my friends more. And he encouraged me to even though I stopped him from doing the same. And I realized how unbalanced everything was.
Nowadays, I tell him to go out and play games with his friends (Magic the Gathering). Play Slay the Spire 2 till no end (a family that slays together stays together). Starcraft 2 out of your mind. I'm secure in knowing that he'll still care for me and take care of the family and games can be one more thing we can bond over.

I know this is unpopular, but it will always be unattractive for a grown man to play video games. Some women might be understanding or pretend like they don’t care that you spend hours playing, but they do. It is extremely unattractive to women and will never not be. 🤷🏼♀️

Fixed the broken NES emulator I wrote last year in Rust. Good to know I can run it again.
