Startup idea: A Peloton bike where you pedal and race against other players and NPCs in GTA V's San Andreas. You can perform drive-bys using 8 lb dumbbells. Make it happen.

10 air squats (done as repeated short bouts every ~45 min after meals) can outperform one continuous 30-min walk for post-meal blood sugar control by about 14%, according to Bryan Johnson citing a 2024 study. The key for people who sit a lot: frequent muscle activation (quads/glutes are big glucose sponges) clears sugar more effectively than one longer effort. It breaks up sedentary time better. Walking is still solid—combine both for best results.

Our Chief Health Officer @bryan_johnson said 10 air squats beats a 30 min walk, so I’m holding my family and friends accountable after meals

@dvassallo Great work, Daniel! 10:08/mi pace is respectable. But yeesh, you normies and your 153 BPM. I think my heart would explode if it beat that fast.

I went through all of Ed Gallrein's interviews and this guy is laughably deep state. He literally says his background is classified, cites anonymous endorsements from unnamed national security officials, and more: kenklippenstein.com/p/iran-war-vs-…

@HackingDave The story I like to tell is a few years back, I did this to a guy at a Mumbai call center. He replied with something like "I don't know how, but I wish I did". I ended up mentoring him for about a year and he is now a professional Python programmer!

Wow. Mind blown moment. I was just on a call - one of my mini splits in the garage died... I could NOT tell it was a virtual assistant until half way through the call that it said that. It sounded like background noise of a call center, typing on a keyboard - the responses were almost instant via normal human dialogue. Didn't sound digitalized at all. I even asked, wait are you an AI assistant? It confirmed. Like indiscernible from a real human conversation, I even said thank you for your help, then was like wait it's just a computer. Can't believe how fast the responses back were, almost too fast. Wild times we live in.

@ScottApogee Haha, I had magazines with those multi-page listings of code. My attitude was “I ain’t typing that shit”, so I read over it to learn what tricks they had to offer, and incorporated that knowledge in my own programs.

Want to play computer games in 1979? Here's how we did it... we bought books and typed in the code, debugged the code, played the game, improved the code, and saved the code on a cassette tape and hoped it saved without errors.

It's kinda wild that Americans don't drink in parks. I remember having wine in a park in Cambridge, good beer on a river in Interlaken, bad beer in a park in Helsinki, then the picnics in Rome (really shitty parks btw) and Paris (fucking amazing) had to have wine, like they sell the little bottles in the parks! WHAT THE FUCK is wrong with America? I know puritan history blah blah but like we got rid of laws against buttsex maybe do the same for a brewski in Prospect Park y'all cray sheeit
Joe Weisenthal@TheStalwart

@BigMeanInternet I agree with this. I think ideally it’d be paired by officers with the ability to kick out drunks using their own good subjective judgment about when someone is acting misanthropically.

I got one of those dryer vent cleaning brushes you see on TikTok all the time. I was thinking it wouldn’t pull out nearly as much lint as in the videos. I was very wrong. Oh my god, I had so much lint in there.
