I’m staying at a stately home and this lovely little A2 is in the grounds. Such a shame as it looks like it’s been abandoned. I’m going to try and buy it off the owner and bring it back to life. I wonder if it was the Lady’s of the house one titled owner from new?

@AdamPollock @ukhpinfo Have you agreed to a sole agency period? They only get paid if they hold the mandate. You don't pay for accuracy, you will pay when they eventually find a buyer but they need to schmooze you first & get the instruction.

Unless the house is toxic, has a corpse in the cellar or comes with cold running dry-rot then the problem is that either your agent isn't being honest with you about the price or you're not listening. I'm afraid my money is on the latter.

@thealexbear Why is aux fail to proceed? Steering too heavy?

The range rover had a breakdown last night. Aux belt. Its on 165k miles ish and in the 53k we've put on it that's the only fail to proceed apart from air struts. However, Audi is also nearing the end. It may be time to just consolidate and get something under a decade old.
