Power was restored for most customers around 7:20 pm. The outage continues for 888 Carnarvon, including the businesses around New West Station. Power is expected to be restored by 9:30 pm.

As of April 23rd 6:20 pm, a large power outage has been reported in the downtown neighbourhood, in the area below Simcoe Park between 8th and 10th Streets. Crews are responding, but there is not yet an ETA for power to be restored. We will provide an update as soon as possible.

@TransLink the 101 bus from Lougheed Station supposed to leave at 8:40am never came. For some reason, this is the the nth time this 8:40am departure never came. Why do you still even bother to schedule if this is unrealiable and the bus is always a no show?

@13thFool This was the first thing I noticed. The light is too harsh and will speed up the deterioration of the ink. They should take note on how the US displays the Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights. It was in a very cold room with very dim lights.

Lastly, as regards their lighting solution and light levels, I am worried of the damage that they’ll sustain in the long run. To illustrate is this display where the lighting comes from one single point of 3 clustered bulbs, instead of securing an even and softer lighting.
