It will never not be weird to me that the NBA is covered like this. How is it healthy for the media of a league to consistently tell fans that 2/3rds of the teams straight up don’t/shouldn’t matter.

Ya honestly, just because this phenomenon has swung in our favour doesn't take away from the how much of a fallacy and narrative driven award it is. Honestly dont even know why I even see it as an honour, when you think about it, it's just who 50 people think is a "best" player.
