500k in it at 2 naira would have been 7.5 million naira now. 1 million would have been 15 million now.
let me tell you a secret; when you’re settled and have a source of income to two, prioritize swing trades with stocks instead of futures/forex or memecoins every now and then.
then when you have enough liquidity to size, take trades once a week to start with and target 20%-50%. with 5 million, 50% would be 2.5m in one week and 10 million in one month.
Increase size and you could do 50 million in one month. then proceed to sizing more, target lesser percentage and also trading less- once a month or once in 2 months(but that’s for when you must have scaled through the basic stage)
if there’s something i have learned, it is that while people launch coins with the purpose of dumping at a certain market cap, no company would list on the stocks market just because they want to incur losses later.
it is always for profitability- the aim, until it’s not due to abiotic factor(s). unlike trading; abiotic or not

yesterday, my friend was traveling from port Harcourt to delta state for school. he was the only boy in the sienna; the rest were women. as they were going down the road, some men dressed like policemen stopped the vehicle at their checkpoint. these men wore ski masks, black uniforms with no name tags or identification at all, and they came in a white hilux. immediately they stopped the car, they looked around and singled out only my friend, telling him to come down. he refused to open his phone when they demanded, saying, “no na officer, una no get right to check my phone.” right there, they slapped him in the face and hit his leg with a gun. the driver came down to ask what was happening, but the armed men told the driver to go back inside the car and leave my friend behind. they took him into the bush. they were six young armed men. removed his glasses and wristwatch, searched him thoroughly, and started demanding money. “how much you get? do come, if not you no dey comot here o.” my friend already knew he was in serious trouble. there was nothing one person could do against six armed men. he showed them his opay account and said he had only ₦300k and was ready to give them ₦150k. they rejected it, hit him again with the gun, and began beating him. he kept insisting that was all he had. one of them said, “omo, if e no dey, make we end this pass make we dey comot here na,” meaning they should just kill him and leave. my friend was already shaking, full of fear. they asked which other bank he used, and he mentioned zenith. one of the boys collected his phone, dialed *966#, demanded his PIN, and checked the balance. when they saw ₦6.7 million, they started beating him again for not disclosing it earlier, they forced him to transfer everything in coins. surprisingly, there was strong network even inside the bush. one of them was clearly a professional in crypto dealings and handled all the transactions quickly through a vendor. after they cleared the zenith account, they told him to start calling his friends for more money that 10million is what they want. one said "we go kill you here nothing go happen" after they cleared his both account!!💔. he was asked to act normal, like nothing was wrong , and started calling, while making calls, begging for cash, a cocked gun was pointed at his leg. in the end, friends sent another ₦1 million, which was also quickly converted to coins and sent to their addresses. the whole ordeal started around 2 PM and ended past 6 PM. all throughout that time they were in the bush. before they released him, they collected his phone, asked him for his iCloud password, reset the device, and then gave it back to him empty. they took every single kobo he had and left him with zero. before they left one made a statement "no think say you one track o cause you no go fit."
this was not policing. it was pure kidnapping and extortion by armed criminals pretending to be security agents. no questions, no charges, no identification just straight robbery in broad daylight. my friend is a student trying to go to school, yet he was targeted simply because he is a young man with money in his account. they took ALL of his money, down to zeros, just like that💔i'm not about to talk about my own experience in uyo 2023. these things have been happening for years!!! when does it end? when does it get better? is it now a crime to be a Nigerian? occurences like this make relocating outside the country a serious priority for many of us. the fear is real, and the system seems powerless to protect ordinary citizens on our roads. something has to change.
