The New Testament was written within the lifetime of eyewitnesses. The Gospels were circulating while people who saw Jesus were still alive. That matters. Legends grow slowly. Eyewitness testimony doesn’t have that luxury. If the story were false, opponents could have shut it down immediately. Instead, it exploded across the Roman Empire.
