i’ve decided that my favorite idea is the pittsburgh peregrines — easy to make black and gold, keeps the alliteration and bird theme w/ the penguins, cool af animal, and pgh has a famous pair of peregrine falcons that live on top of pitt’s cathedral of learning!

@jossyoursalad69 if you have ARFID and develop anorexia nervosa, it’s not like the traits or symptoms of ARFID disappear, but the diagnoses are mutually exclusive because you really can’t treat both disorders at the same time. you have to recover from anorexia to then recover from ARFID.

@jossyoursalad69 in fact, i think it’s important to acknowledge that restriction in ARFID is NEVER about body image. if you restrict food for the purpose of weight loss or controlling your body’s appearance, it’s disqualifying for an ARFID diagnosis and falls into anorexia nervosa, ednos, etc
